El Salvador Predictions for 2022

I verify from time to time Yahoo Finance News on Crypto and I almost always find surprising interesting things.

At the beginning of the New Year, we might enjoy making predictions and setting new resolutions. You do imagine how much these things are reflected on the financial market and especially on the crypto market.

An optimist prediction is also that of El Salvador President Bukele. He predicts Bitcoin Will Reach $100k this year. It is not the single prediction of this kind although last year Bitcoin was around $69,000 and at the end of the year was below $50k.

And that's not all. He suggests that two more countries will legally adopt Bitcoin. These and more are stated in a tweet posted by Nayib Bukele. According to the tweet Bitcoin

•Will become a major electoral issue in US elections this year
•Bitcoin City will commence construction
•Volcano bonds will be oversubscribed
•Huge surprise at @TheBitcoinConf

Although US elections have had their challenges over the years,
Bitcoin City is a very ambitious plan for El Salvador.

Building a cryptocurrency-fueled city using geothermal energy to power the city while mining Bitcoin would have sound science fiction years ago, but seems to be now very well planned on paper.

However, it is said that the currency's lack of transparency could attract more criminal activity to the country, as well as a greater risk for those holding the digital currency considering its wild value swings.

The Bitcoin Conference of which Bukulele is talking will be held in April this year and that could give us maybe a clue on what the El Salvador president has in mind.

The future sounds bright and hopefully, Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will raise while the crypto environment will remain as clean as possible.
