Day 12 Mass indoctrination service 26-10-2021

Few Lessons learnt from our today's Mass indoctrination service been the day 12.held by Bro Eli on the 26th of October, 2021.

We were meant to understand that our primary duty in this life, Is to seek the face of the Lord. It is natural for man to desire things of the world i.e (building house, buying cars getting money and other things). But is our obligation as a Christian to seek the face of the Lord. He is not far from us when we seek him. But if we did not seek him, he will be far from us.

What is the meaning of the parable of the seed? Which is the parable of the word of God and how it is in our heart.

Luke 8:12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

The way side is the heart of man who received the word and the devil came with his device and stole the word way from his heart.

Luke 8:13 They on the rock are they , which, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

This verses is talking about the people that received the word of God with joy but it has no place in their heart. They have little faith in the word of God. Just a little temptation will make them fall.

Luke 8:14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

This once that fell on the thorns are those people that heard the word of God but are carried away by things of the world.

Luke 8:15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, keep it , and bring forth fruit with patience.

This once on good ground are the people that have a good heart and that are honest as well. They are the once that hear the word and make good use of it. And it brings forth fruit with patience.

1st Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

If a doctor can change and replace heart how much more God? God is powerful to change us human being even our heart. Even if you are the most evil doer in the world God can still change you.

Acts 22:4 And I persecuted this way unto the death, binding and delivering into prisons both men and women.

Acts 22:5 As also the high priest doth bear me witness, and all the estate of the elders: from whom also I received letters unto the brethren, and went to Damascus, to bring them which were there bound unto Jerusalem, for to be punished.

Acts 22:6 And it came to pass, that, as I made my journey, and was come nigh unto Damascus about noon, suddenly there shone from heaven a great light round about me.

Acts 22:7 And I fell unto the ground, and heard a voice saying unto me, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

Acts 22:8 And I answered, Who art thou, Lord? And he said unto me, I am Jesus of Nazareth, whom thou persecutest.

Acts 22:9 And they that were with me saw indeed the light,
and were afraid; but they heard not the voice of him that spake to me.

Acts 22:10 And I said, What shall I do, Lord? And the Lord said unto me, Arise, and go into Damascus; and there it shall be told thee of all things which are appointed for thee to do..

As we can see in all these verses Paul was a persecutor and God still change his heart and his name and he used him. The same church which he persecute, he still stand there to preach the word of God to them.

Finally, we are suppose to examine our heart if the word of God stays or leaves at the time of temptation?
Let us seek the face of the lord. He is not far from us and he has the power to do all things.
