NEWBIES INITIATIVE TASK #3: QUESTIONS ABOUT DAPPS
The newbie initiative has been up for some month now and the reason for the initiative is to guide those who are just nee into the platform and I know it has guided a lot of users from making costly mistake which others who didn't have guide did. So I commend the effort of some great people behind this initiative in the likes of @starstrings01 @aliento @projectmamabg @eddiespino @theycallmedan they have been of help to many new users on the platform and I can see different author already taking up good act and what they need to know about the platform.
WHICH DAPP DO YOU USE AND WHY
When I started hive or let me say when I was introduced to hive, the first dapp which I used was peakd, I used it for a long period of time even though am still using it now and it is one of the dapp which I use most. Other dapps which I use when is ecency, also I make use of leofinance.io, I make use of 3speak also which I know most people are yet to know about, I also make use of hive.blog which I got to know of recent and why I make use of peakd is that I see peakd as a very easy one to operate and the reason is the function which peakd has and it makes it different from others.
HOW DO YOU SEE HIVE NOW COMPARED TO WHEN IT WAS STILL STEEM.
Actually I was not privilege to know about steem platform. But I must say even though I don't know how things are run in steem platform, since I joined hive I can see it as a platform where one get to relate with others and also make new social friends. I can say I have met a lot of people on this platform and they have been so helpful ever since. So for me, I see hive as a life changer and also a place where one can acquire knowledge and earn for doing that because I see as an easy one compared to steem if I must say. Maybe because I am an hiver😁.
WHAT ARE THE BENEFIT OF USING PEAKD
So coming back to where I ended at first, peakd haa a it of function for me especially when am making my post, there are tools which I can use to centralise my writing and also I can divide my image by taking it side by side, also I will say the tools there makes it easy for me to use.
BENEFIT OF USING ECENCY
I got the idea of using ecency not quite long because I don't know the importance and gain which ecency has not until I was introduce to it by @starstrings01 and since then I started gaining point on everything which I do on the platform and I can now use those points to boost and promote my post which I have been doing most of the time
BENEFIT OF USING HIVEBLOG
It is easy for me to see some trending post there easily and I can engage easily there since I love using it.
WHAT IS 3SPEAK
3speak is just like YouTube where you make video and upload them there ask you can watch other users video there which is connected to hive account
BENEFIT OF USING 3SPEAK
3speaks has made it easy for me to upload my video easily especially when I want to make my music video. It have been helpful a lot.
HOW DO YOU EARN UPVOTE ON 3SPEAK? WHAT ARE THE KEY REQUIREMENTS?
For me I think making your video high quality can make you earn an upvote and i don't really know the key requirement but what I know is that making your video with good quality will surely attract upvote.
How much videos you must make to get noticed?
Is there a certain amount video required to get noticed? I don't think there is once the video is of high quality, there will surely be an high possiblity that you will get noticed.
What is the best length for a video to get the maximum of the votes?
For me anytime I make my video I usually make it is more than a minute. That I think doing a video below that number of minute won't make one get the maximum vote from them.
Are videos made like presentation and human voice successful?
Sure video made like presentation and human voice can come with so much error and disturbance and it will result in starting all over again till the best one is produced and acquired and that is when one can say it is successful.
Is it hard to become a vlogger?
I have been making some writing when making my post but the day I was motivated to make a post using a vlog and I will have to talk. I see it as if I am just talking to myself when I put on the camera and I see it very easy for me to use vlog in publishing my post. So I will say depending on the way people see it, it is not hard to become a blogger but it can seem.
Everything sounds great, now how to make an account and run it?
One can create account using peakd, ecency, hivesigner, so after that is to download the backup which will be displayed during registration and it contains different keys which will be used to run that account, like posting and the rest, then the next thing is to join different communities which will enable one to post in it because without joining any communities there is no way you will post and people will see it. So the next thing is to make an introductory post as it is a norms on the platform to feel welcomed. Then engagement starts which is the real keys to improve and grow fast on the platform as you can gain different heart who will help your account and it can only be done through engaging.
The last thing I will say is making quality post like I mean original post which is to say there should be no form of PLAGIARISM because that is an offence on the platform which is just like taking another person's work without asking for permission and if that will be done, it has to be sourced and to source anything we made use of the [] where you write your text which most people call SOURCING and () where the link is been posted where you got the resources you are using.
