A Morning of Memories: Reuniting with My PSS Classmates at Morera Heights ❤️

‎Before lunchtime, we were already on our way to Morera Heights in Guinobatan, Albay.

‎It was still morning.

‎We left Polangui at around 9 in the morning.

‎I was with my dad and mom, my hubby and our two sons, my mother-in-law, my sister Princess, and our two friends, Von and Aliyah.

‎When we reached Guinobatan, we realized that none of us knew where Morera Heights was. 😆 It was our first time going there, so we had to rely on Google Maps to guide us. Thankfully, as we got closer, we saw the signs pointing us in the right direction.

‎The road going up to Morera Heights was mostly a one-lane road, and some parts were inclined. There was also plenty of greenery, with trees making the surroundings feel like a small forest.

‎This wasn't the kind of place you would simply stumble upon by chance. It's tucked away from the roads.

‎We were all first-timers that morning, so we were curious and excited in the car. We didn't know what the place looked like yet, but we were about to find out.

‎As soon as we arrived, I immediately appreciated the view and the peaceful surroundings. Just like I shared in my recent post in the @worldmappin community, the place was already beautiful enough to catch our attention. The greenery, the pool, the scenery, and the atmosphere all made a good first impression.

‎So... We took pictures. Looots of pictures. 🥰

‎And by "pictures," I mean pictures of us with the beautiful view as our background. Hahaha

‎The reason we were here that morning was for a reunion with my classmates from PSS. It had been a while since we had all been together, so finally we caught up for a while.

‎After greeting one another, we decided to have some snacks first. We had agreed beforehand that each of us would bring something to share. So we ended up with a lot of food.

‎There was puto, spaghetti, hot chocolate, cheesy kutsinta, pizza, and even ice cream. 😋 There was definitely no shortage of food that morning. Everyone was enjoying the snacks while talking and catching up.

‎But while we were still enjoying our food and catching up with everyone, my two boys, Ryzen and Aiden, had only one thing on their minds... Swimming! ✨

‎They kept saying that they already wanted to go into the pool, so eventually, we changed them into their swimming outfits.

‎Their excitement reminded me of myself when I was still a kid. I was the same whenever I saw a swimming pool or sea... I would immediately feel excited to jump in. 😅

‎Of course, a reunion wouldn't be complete without a group photo. 💙

‎After we finished our snacks, we decided to gather everyone together and take a picture first. It was our way of capturing the moment while we were still complete and together.

‎That morning became special to me. I had the chance to see and spend time with my classmates again, and seeing that they now have their own families and different paths in life makes me genuinely happy.

Everyone was doing well, and most of all... Everyone is happy. ❤️

❤️ I hope you enjoyed reading this little story from our reunion at Morera Heights. Thank you so much for taking the time to share this moment with me. ❤️

Until my next story, take care and keep making beautiful memories with the people who matter. 🌸

With lots of love,
‎Mayt 💕
