A Slow, Sweet Day: Spending the Day at My Parents' Place

‎Today, I will share how our simple day went. It's just a warm and nice day that I had to write down.

‎Our day started around 8 AM. We went to school, and Ryzen did his activity and wrote on the board. He was so focused. 📝

‎
‎After that, we headed to the mall to buy some food and necessities. Then, I thought, why not drop by my parents' house, spend our time there, and have lunch together. So off we went after informing them. 🥰
‎





‎
‎We traveled on our e-bike. The ride was nice, but our two sons got really sleepy along the way. 😅
‎


‎
‎The place is a bit far, and the gentle ride made them fall asleep. 😅
‎
‎When we arrived, it was lunchtime. My parents cooked nilagang baboy. Then I made a quick dipping sauce of fish sauce, calamansi, and chili to pair with the soup.

‎We also bought soft drinks, which made the meal even more refreshing.
‎
‎While we were eating, Ryzen and Aiden were still fast asleep in the bedroom.

‎And look at the cats here...

‎They're getting so much bigger now compared to when we first started visiting. So cute and fluffy. 🐱💕
‎
‎Right now, we're still here, lying down on the bed after a satisfying lunch. Sarap buhay, 'di ba? Haha. Exactly the kind of day I need.
