Feast Under the Sky: Chicken, Sinigang & Lumpia

‎Today I want to share how lovely our night was when we spent it at my brother's house.
‎
‎He's being his usual hospitable self again. 😄 He wanted to invite our friend Ate Lanie and Kuya Mias, who had never visited their home before. And of course... We came along too. 😆 It's like we're always the "backup guests" whenever there's a gathering. 😆 Hahaha, always present.

‎He told us to come by 6 PM, but since my hubby was still at work, we arrived around 7 PM instead. But I messaged them ahead of time, of course. I said they could eat and not wait for us. But you know, they just wouldn't start without us. 🥹

‎So when we finally got there, everyone was waiting. So kind.
‎

‎
‎We enjoyed a different menu, like chicken, lumpia, and sinigang.
‎



‎
‎And since my brother's house is a bit small for our big group, we ate outside under the evening sky. It wasn't raining, so the air felt cool and fresh.
‎

‎
‎After eating, someone turned on the videoke. 🎤 And that's when I discovered my brother's niece, Chinchin, has such an incredible voice. She sang songs with a fast-paced style, almost like rap but with a smooth flow. I was so impressed! She has a wonderful talent. I'm so glad we got to hear her sing. ✨

‎Then my brother's father-in-law brought out his kept drinks. 🥃
‎


‎
‎He said this one was made especially for the ladies, and he also paired it with crunchy peanuts for our pulutan. So thoughtful! 💛
‎
‎Meanwhile, the kids also had their own wonderful time. They ran around, playing, laughing, just making memories together. 👧🏻👦🏻
‎

‎It was such a beautiful night... 💚
