Morera Heights: Discovering a Hidden Gem in Guinobatan, Albay

‎A month before, my former PSS classmates had already planned where we would spend the day together. After considering different options, we eventually chose Morera Heights Park in Guinobatan, Albay as our venue.

‎It was an affordable choice, but it has a beautiful and relaxing setting without the large price that usually comes with renting private resorts or other popular venues.
‎
‎
‎
‎The moment we arrived, one of the first things that caught my attention was the beautiful blue water of the pool. The weather at that time was so hot, so seeing that water made me even more excited. I could already imagine myself enjoying a refreshing swim.
‎





‎
‎What made the pool even more interesting was its design. It has an infinity pool, the kind of pool I mostly see in photos. But beyond the swimming area, there's also beautiful scenery.
‎
‎Because we're in an elevated location, we could clearly see the distant town and the wide valley across the landscape. The sky was slightly hazy, giving the place a cool, calm, and peaceful feeling.
‎



‎
‎It looked beautiful both in person and through the camera lens.
‎
‎Morera Heights Park was already giving us much more than we expected.
‎
‎Also, this place might seem like a place mainly meant for swimming and relaxing by the pool, but there is actually more to discover within the venue.
‎



‎
‎Nearby, there's also a garden area where visitors can take a walk, enjoy the surrounding scenery, and of course, take plenty of photos. It's a lovely spot to explore, especially for those who enjoy nature and photography.
‎
‎Unfortunately, I discovered the garden a little too late. 🤦🏻‍♀️ By the time I noticed it, our time was already limited, so I wasn't able to visit them personally.
‎
‎If I had known it earlier, I would have given you a little tour of those areas too. 🥺
‎
‎By the way, of all the things I saw at Morera Heights Park, my favorite was actually the pool downstairs, which was designed for children.
‎





‎
‎Since I was there with my two boys, Ryzen and Aiden, the kids' pool gave me a little peace of mind. It wasn't deep, so I could let them enjoy themselves without worrying about them getting into deeper water. Of course, I was still watching them.
‎
‎Also, the water from the infinity pool above continuously flowed down into the children's pool below, which looked like a little waterfall or endless shower pouring into the pool. 🥰
‎
‎There were also two cottages beside the kids' pool, along with plenty of greenery around the area. It gave the place a nice spot for families to stay while the children played.
‎






‎
‎I believe locals have a good reason to appreciate places like this. The place seemed new, and there were still ongoing improvements and additional things being developed to make the venue even more enjoyable and appealing to visitors.
‎
‎This is something worth supporting and appreciating. 🥰
‎

‎I was glad that I got the chance to discover this park.
‎
‎There are still little gems within our own communities waiting to be noticed.
‎
‎So if you're ever looking for a different way to spend a day, Morera Heights might be a place worth putting on your map. 💙
