A Walk Along The Beach

Yesterday I took a trip to the beach, but I didn't exactly go for a swim, I extended my exercise walk to the beach.

About a month ago I wanted to test the water temperature in Samil, but it seemed too cold for my taste, here in Vigo, the beaches are very cold water, I thought I would not be able to enjoy a beach bath this summer.

Fortunately, as the summer approaches the water temperature is getting warmer although it is still cold, I can now stand having my feet in the water for longer, before I felt like my bones were freezing! :-D

When we are well into the summer I will try to get completely into the water, I hope I can withstand that cold water on my skin, I will tell you later. The good thing about these days is that it is quite sunny so if you get cold in the water then the sun warms you up quickly.

The path to the beach is adorned by small flowers that grow in the space between the wall and the platform which brighten the way with their beautiful colors, also in my path I met a small snail that by the speed I think it was also going to the beach. :D

The weather and scenery was so nice that I stayed until the sun was lost on the horizon. I had just enough natural light to return home.

I know I should share photos on Wednesdays, but sometimes there is not enough time to do everything you want to do.

Ayer me dí una escapada por la playa, pero no fui a bañarme precisamente sino que extendí mi caminata de ejercicios hasta la playa.

Hace como un mes quise probar la temperatura del agua en Samil, pero me pareció muy fría para mi gusto, aqui en Vigo las playas son de agua muy fría, llegué a pensar que no iba poder disfrutar de un baño de playa en este verano.

Afortunadamente, a medida que se acerca el verano la temperatura del agua se va tornando más cálida aunque aún es fría ya soporto tener mis pies en el agua por más tiempo, antes llegue a sentir que se me congelaban hasta los huesos!

Cuando estemos bien adentrados al verano voy a tratar de introducirme completamente al agua, espero poder soportar esa agua fría en mi piel, ya luego les contaré. Lo bueno de estos días es que hace bastante sol así que si te da frío el agua después el sol te calienta rápido.

El camino hacia la playa está adornado por pequeñas flores que crecen en el espacio que hay entre la pared y el andén las cuales alegran el camino con sus hermosos colores, también en mi senda me encontré con un pequeño caracol que por la velocidad que llevaba creo que también iba para la playa.

Estaba tan agradable el clima y el paisaje que me quedé hasta que el sol se perdió en el horizonte. Tuve la luz natural suficiente para regresar a casa.

Ya se que debería compartir las fotos los miércoles, pero a veces el tiempo no es suficiente para hacer todo lo que uno quiere.
