[Eng/Esp] Drawing and coloring a TMNT: Raphael / Dibujando y coloreando una TMNT: Rafael

Greetings friends of the community. Already again among you to show you my most recent work, in which I made a drawing of one of the ninja turtles, Rafael. A design based on the comic strips of these characters, where they have a more somber and serious aspect. And for more details of this we will see below, so without further ado let's begin.

Saludos amigos de la comunidad. Ya nuevamente entre ustedes para mostrarles mi más reciente trabajo, en que realizó un dibujo de una de las tortugas ninjas, Rafael. Un diseño basado en las tiras cómicas de estos personajes, donde tienen un aspecto más sombrío y serio. Y para más detalles de esto lo veremos a continuación, así que sin más preámbulos comencemos.

First of all perform the grid method, which is what will allow us to give more accuracy to the figure within the space of the paper and design it.

Ante todo realice el método de la cuadrícula, que es lo que nos permitirá darle más exactitud a la figura dentro del espacio del papel y diseño del mismo.

Then, with the help of an HB pencil we create the sketch.

Luego, con la ayuda de un lápiz HB creamos el boceto.

Then we make the line art.

Seguidamente realizamos la línea de arte.

From this moment on we start painting in this way: in the upper part of the skull we apply green color for the dark areas, and jade green for the lighter ones. Jade green mixed with white where the illumination is strengthened.

A partir de este momento empezamos a pintar de está forma: en la parte superior del cráneo aplicamos el color verde para las áreas oscuras, y verde jade para las más claras. Verde jade mezclado con blanco en donde se afianza la iluminación.

In the mask we used a combination of red with brown (shadow projection), red, and reddish orange - the latter may not be very noticeable due to the quality of the colored pencil.

En el antifaz se uso una combinación de rojo con marrón (proyección de sombra), rojo, y naranja rojizo -puede que este último no se note mucho debido a la calidad del lápiz de color.

From then on we repeat the colors in the respective areas of the character adding black for the shadow. We do this until everything is completed.

Ya a partir de entonces se repiten los colores en las respectivas zonas del personaje agregando el negro para la sombra. Lo hacemos hasta completar todo.

And that's it! We are done with our work 😃 What do you think?
