I Lost My Magic, And Got Rekt!

Every week, the @Splinterlands team, creates the "BATTLE MAGE SECRETS Weekly Challenge"

THIS WEEK'S CHALLENGE RULES:

RULESET: Lost Magic

Description:

Magic units may not be used in battle.
Use Thorns and Demoralize to counter melee attacks.
Use Headwinds and Return Fire to counter ranged attacks.
Units with 2 types of attack (which include magic) cannot be used.

After looking at the full rule-set, I decided to use the Fire Splinter!

Since I was already decided on the Fire Splinter, I chose Tarsa to be the leader and Summoner of the team. She adds a heath buff to each friendly monster, and boost all team melee attacks! I thought it would be a good idea to choose mostly melee monsters, but instead, I got Rekt! I guess I should've tried to concentrate more on the abilities… But anyways, here's my lineup…

I chose ARKEMIS THE BEAR, FINEAS RAGE, KOBOLD MINER, PARASITIC GROWTH, FIRE DEMON, & CORNEALUS. It was a strong lineup- or so I thought!

I was prepared to face my opponent @paulpaul1996

At first glance, I thought I was in for an easy win. But boy was I wrong! The battle 6 rounds, and I got killed! My opponent had the far superior team, but I have learned from this defeat!
