Saludos amigos de Movies & TV Shows. Este fin de semana vi con mi esposo una película muy conmovedora y que toca un tema de crisis mundial que estamos viviendo actualmente en el mundo, que me ha tocado el alma debido a la situación de migración que actualmente hay en mi país Venezuela.
Greetings friends of Movies & TV Shows. This weekend I saw with my husband a very touching film that touches a global crisis that we are currently living in the world, which has touched my soul because of the migration situation in my country Venezuela.
Esta película se centra principalmente en la travesía desde su país Siria que se encuentra en guerra de dos talentosas nadadoras, en búsqueda de salir de la crisis que azota su país, y poder tener un mejor futuro para ellas y su familia.
film focuses mainly on the journey of two talented female swimmers from their war-torn home country of Syria in search of a better future for themselves and their families.
La película se inicia mostrando la vida de una familia Siria muy común donde su mundo gira en función del entrenamiento y desempeño deportivo como nadadoras de las dos hijas mayores Yusra y Sarah Mardini, las cuales fueron entrenadas por su padre un talentoso nadador que lamentablemente no pudo alcanzar el sueño olímpico, de representar a su país en unas olimpiadas.

The film opens by showing the life of a very ordinary Syrian family where their world revolves around the training and performance as swimmers of the two eldest daughters Yusra and Sarah Mardini, who were trained by their father, a talented swimmer who unfortunately could not achieve the Olympic dream of representing his country in the Olympics.

Lamentablemente el país Siria donde viven comienza la guerra, trataron al principio de llevar una vida adaptada a la nueva situación de su país, pero esta situación cada vez fue peor, aunque fue difícil para la familia tomar la decisión de que migraran las nadadoras , lo vieron ya como algo necesario ya que no podían desarrollar ningún tipo de actividad sin el temor que les cayera una bomba encima, lo cual ya había pasado con muchos amigos y familiares.Sumado a esto la nadadora menor tenia mucho talento y el padre quería que continuara su brillante carrera y llegara a participar en las olimpiadas.
Unfortunately the Syrian country where they live is at war, at the beginning they tried to lead a life adapted to the new situation in their country, but this situation was getting worse and worse, although it was difficult for the family to take the decision to migrate the swimmers, they saw it as something necessary because they could not develop any kind of activity without the fear that a bomb would fall on them, which had already happened to many friends and relatives, in addition to this the youngest swimmer was very talented and the father wanted her to continue her brilliant career and to participate in the Olympics.
Comienza el viaje desde Siria hasta Alemania de las hermanas Mardini que viajaron en compañía de su primo, el padre de las nadadoras les había dado una cantidad suficiente de dinero para la travesía lo cual les ayudo infinitamente durante el viaje, ya que tuvieron que pagar altas sumas de dinero para trasladarse por los caminos verdes de un lugar al otro, donde en muchos de estos cruces entre fronteras pasaron muchas calamidades, robos, fraude. En este momento reflexione sobre esa cantidad de migrantes que pasan aun mas calamidades por viajar con pocos recursos y no tener como pagarle a estos maleantes del camino.
The journey from Syria to Germany begins for the Mardini sisters who travelled in the company of their cousin, the father of the swimmers had given them a sufficient amount of money for the crossing which helped them infinitely during the journey, as they had to pay large sums of money to travel along the green roads from one place to another, where in many of these crossings between borders they went through many calamities, robberies, fraud. At this moment I reflected on the number of migrants who suffer even more calamities for travelling with few resources and not having the means to pay these thugs along the way.
Una de los mayores desafíos fue atravesar el mar en una balsa que uno de los contrabandistas de cruce de fronteras les consiguió para llegar a Grecia, estando este bote en muy malas condiciones y ademas con una sobrecarga de personas que hacían aun mas engorrosa la travesía en el mar. En un momento del viaje, el motor del bote comenzó a fallar y la balsa a llenarse de agua, lo cual creo un pánico terrible entre todos, tomando la decisión la hermana mayor de lanzarse al mar a nadar para alivianar un poco el peso de la balsa, y su hermana menor decidió acompañar a su hermana en este acto de sacrificio para salvar a todos en la balsa , otro pasajero también tomo la iniciativa pero este no aguanto el desafió, claro no tenia las condiciones de entrenamiento para nadar por largo tiempo como lo tenían las nadadoras.
One of the biggest challenges was to cross the sea on a raft that one of the border-crossing smugglers got for them to get to Greece, this boat being in very bad condition and also with an overload of people that made the sea crossing even more cumbersome. At one point in the journey, the boat's engine began to fail and the raft began to fill with water, which created a terrible panic among everyone, the older sister decided to jump into the sea to swim to relieve some of the weight of the raft, and her younger sister decided to accompany her sister in this act of sacrifice to save everyone on the raft, another passenger also took the initiative but he did not stand the challenge, of course he did not have the training conditions to swim for a long time as the swimmers had.
Al llegar a Grecia, continuo la travesía de las hermanas Mardini y su primo por varios países hasta llegar a Alemania, encontrándose también otra serie de desafíos y abusos. Al llegar a Alemania fueron acogida por un programa de migrantes donde procesaban sus estatus de residencia. Yusra Mardini la hermana menor comenzó a entrenar en el refugio con las herramientas disponibles la cual la hicieron mantener sus condiciones de deportista, y buscar como seguir entrenando y hacer realidad su sueño y sobretodo traerse a su familia de Siria.
Upon arrival in Greece, the Mardini sisters and their cousin continued their journey through several countries until they reached Germany, where they also encountered a series of other challenges and abuses. Upon arrival in Germany, they were taken into a migrant programme where their residency status was processed. Yusra Mardini, the youngest sister, started training in the shelter with the tools available to her, which made her maintain her athletic condition, and look for ways to continue training and realise her dream of bringing her family back from Syria.

En un centro de entrenamiento conocieron a Sven Spannenkrebs en Berlín, un talentoso entrenador, donde Yursa le demostró sus capacidades y talento como nadadora, y este decidió darle la oportunidad y entrenarla para alcanzar la marca para poder ir a las olimpiadas en Rio, consiguieron su objetivo, pero no representaría a su país, sino al equipo conformado por refugiados, cosa que no le gusto mucho al principio. sin embargo reflexiona y se centra en su pasión y ser reconocida entre los grandes nadadores de todo el mundo, lo cual logro obteniendo una destacada actuación.
In a training centre they met Sven Spannenkrebs in Berlin, a talented coach, where Yursa showed him her abilities and talent as a swimmer, and he decided to give her the opportunity and train her to reach the mark to be able to go to the Olympics in Rio, they achieved their goal, but she would not represent her country, but the team made up of refugees, which she did not like very much at first. However she reflects and focuses on her passion and be recognized among the great swimmers around the world, which she achieved by obtaining an outstanding performance.
La felicidad de este logro la hizo continuar adelante en otras olimpiadas y logro traerse a su familia de Siria. La hermana mayor se dedico ayudar con organizaciones a todos eso inmigrantes que estaban pasando por toda esa odisea que ellas pasaron.
The happiness of this achievement made her go on to other Olympics and she managed to bring her family from Syria. The older sister dedicated herself to help with organisations for all those immigrants who were going through the same ordeal that they went through.
Esta película solo muestra una pequeña parte de esta gran problemática de migración que estamos viviendo a nivel mundial, donde se agudiza cada día mas, donde los migrantes atraviesan horrores durante sus travesías,estigma social, corrupción, engaño alguno ni llegan a su destino perdiendo su vida en el intento.
This film only shows a small part of this great migration problem that we are experiencing worldwide, where it is becoming more acute every day, where migrants go through horrors during their journeys, social stigma, corruption, deception, or even lose their lives in the attempt to reach their destination.
