Ruta de esperanza, y confianza.🙌🏽☀️🙏🏻

Saludos y Bendiciones Runners.

Greetings and blessings, runners.
Today, after several days, I went out to train with my husband; he’s been busy with work. Today we took a route that brings us a lot of calm and peace. These haven’t been easy days—watching the news and following the search for people who are still missing, as the critical hours for rescue begin, breaks our hearts. But we must not lose faith or hope, so that the rescue teams can find them. I know that the faith of a people has power, and this is what we must do from afar: support them with our prayers to strengthen those who are still trapped under the rubble. We took a short and pleasant route today; when we reached the Virgin’s monument, I gazed out at the sea—it was calm, and the sunrise was bathed in beautiful colors. Here we stopped, took a breath, and prayed to the Virgin for all the people in the affected areas who are going through a terrible ordeal, that they may find the light, just like this sunrise.
We headed back home. Today’s workout was a fartlek session: I started with a one-kilometer warm-up, followed by two kilometers at race pace, took a five-minute recovery break, then ran two more kilometers at race pace, and finished with a one-kilometer recovery run. The weather was quite cool, so my heart rate stayed within the target range, and this route is almost flat. Going out to train right now makes me feel strong and confident that this time will pass quickly and everything will work out so that everyone who is suffering from a loss—or is still waiting to be rescued—won’t lose hope and will find all the help they need. Let’s keep going, fellow runners, without losing faith. 🙌🏽🙌🏽
