Entrenamiento adaptado al terreno 🙏🏻🏃🏻♀️🙌🏽😎

Saludos y Bendiciones Runners.
Bendiciones runners.
ENGLISH VERSION
Greetings and blessings, runners.
Tuesday—After a long time, I went back to doing interval training at the stadium today, since the stadium had been closed for a while, and after it reopened, the rains came. The rains are still heavy, but today dawned clear, with pleasant weather, so I told myself, “Let’s go to the stadium,” to continue with my Tuesday interval routine. Before heading to the stadium, I warmed up by running two kilometers around the perimeter. When I arrived, I noticed that the grass was still tall in several spots, so I told myself I wouldn’t be able to do the 400-meter sets I was supposed to do, and I adapted the sets to 200 x 200 meters. That way, I wouldn’t have to run on the grass, which is quite uncomfortable when sprinting on tall grass—you can get injured with a wrong step—and especially given that this is a speed workout. And well, that’s how we’re adapting on the fly to each route, just to be on the safe side.
I did 10 sets of 200 meters, with 200 meters of rest in between. I felt good during the 200-meter sets, achieving an average time of 50 seconds per set, which averaged a pace of 4:13 min/km. After finishing the sets, I ran back home, cooling down a bit at an easy pace. Today there were more athletes training at the stadium; little by little we’re getting back into it—not with the same enthusiasm, but with a lot of faith and the strength to keep moving forward. Blessings, runners.
