Dia de podio 🥳🥳🎉😎

Saludos y Bendiciones Amigos.

Greetings and blessings Friends.!
Today was race day in my little town. I got up early, ate a banana, and drank a cup of black coffee. I got ready and went with my husband to participate in a CEO FANB anniversary race—a 10K run and a 5K walk. The event was scheduled for 6 a.m. We left the house almost right on time—I was a little late—but thank God we made it on time. I rushed off to get my race number and took my place at the starting line with barely any time to warm up. But hey, sometimes you need to break the routine, and I usually arrive early—this time, I was right on time.
The race had a good turnout of runners and walkers. We set off at the scheduled time; the course was very scenic, running back and forth along the beach, and it was a good route since it had some elevation changes. I started the race by keeping my heart rate within my target range, and I maintained that for the first few kilometers. Then, little by little, I started running based on how I felt—though I did check my watch every now and then to monitor my heart rate. My husband ran with me for part of the route; he didn’t complete the whole race because he’s recovering from an injury.
And in the last few kilometers, I gave it my all, and well, I took first place in my category—what a thrill! I crossed the finish line feeling great and with a prize, reaping the rewards of my training. I really enjoyed this race because we reconnected and spent time with the local runners.🙌🏻🙌🏻😎
