I want to express my gratitude to @starkerz for enlightening me on how this initiative could be utilized here in Ghana. During my recent visit to Ghana, @mynewlife guided me through how Ghana could become the next hotspot for Spend HBD.
The flexibility of the Ghanaian economy and the readiness of people to embrace new ideas are clear indicators of how well the Spend HBD initiative could thrive here. I am thrilled to announce that Ghana will soon witness a rapid adoption of HBD for daily transactions.
To facilitate this initiative in Ghana, arrangements have been made with @starkerz, and the support of reputable Hivers for this endeavour is truly invaluable. Moreover, I have reached out to several businesses in Ghana that have eagerly embraced the idea of accepting HBD as payment.
The Spend HBD initiative presents a seamless and efficient system that any shop owner or vendor can easily adopt to onboard people onto the Hive blockchain. It's incredibly satisfying to know that you can send money to someone within seconds with just a simple scan of a QR code.
I vividly recall the excitement of receiving HBD from @mynewlife during his purchases in Ghana, where I paid for him in Ghanaian cedi. With just a scan of a QR code, he effortlessly reimbursed me, and I received the funds instantly through my keychain app. These are the kinds of innovative systems that can truly revolutionise our lives for the better.
In the coming days, we will be launching an initiative to onboard and welcome more business owners in Ghana who have agreed to utilise the Spend HBD initiative and encourage their customers to join Hive so they can easily pay with HBD using a QR code.
