Reminiscing our Laguna Trip - Excited For Next Visit
Being not able to go our freely for the past months made me feel a little nostalgic. My family and I were not really that stuck at home, we had several chances out and travel to the outskirts of Cebu City for the past months too. What my husband and I really wanted to do is to visit his family in Laguna. We were supposed to travel July last year to visit his family but because of the lockdown our flight was cancelled.
Well, it is for everyone's safety though. While waiting for that trip to materialized, let me reminisce our 2014 Laguna, Philippines trip. We only had one child then and one on the way. Visiting my husband's family is our way of taking our break from the busy life here in Cebu City. We got to see these rice fields in the picture below and be able to feel once again the provincial life. Where things were slow paced. Life is simple.
This is our little family back in 2014. That is our eldest daughter. She's 2 years old then. And me months pregnant to our second child.
It was almost sundown when we went and visit these rice fields just near my in-laws place. Aren't these fields a beauty?
A photo of a young father, who adores his child so dearly. :D
My husband during this time was telling us stories about his childhood. How he enjoyed those years with his siblings and friends. As parents, we also like our children to enjoy their childhood years. That is why we find time to bring them to places specially to nature and let them experience it first hand.
We allowed our children to explore of course with our supervision.
This photo over here is her first time to see a live goat. heheh Look at that, she's holding the rope that was tied to little goat. Don't worry the goat was not harmed. LOL
OUR NEXT TRAVEL TO LAGUNA IS COMING SOON...
Now after a year of flight cancellation, we have booked another flight to Manila next month for our travel to Laguna. We are hoping and praying for a safe trip and no more cancelled flights. This will be our first time as a whole family to spend the Christmas holidays with my in-laws. First time for our youngest daughter to see her grandparents in person. Isn't it exciting? :D I just hope things will go smoothly and as planned.
What are your plans for the coming holidays?
Thank you for reaching this far and reading my post.
Until next time!

I wish there are still ricefields in the area when we go visit again. My husband said a portion of it is now a Subdivision...
