Part 2: Grassland

avatar

Hello lovely people of Hive!

This is me again, meday.

And for today's blog , allow me to share the continuation of the part one of my adventure, but today, I will narrate how i reach the gorgeous peak of Mucia called Grassland

But

Lovely people of Hive, if you haven't seen the part one, you can visit my timeline to read and feel the mesmerizing, breath taking and very refreshing cave i entered and it's view, since it is one of the cleanest river here in Bacolod , located at Barangay Buenavista, Municipal of Negros Occidental.

Enjoy reading!

As we were on our way back home, a thought in my mind popped up. Whaf if I climb the top of that mountain? Will I be able to see a better view? Is the place worth it? Can I do it? I am an adventurous person, though my parents are strict about me going out of our house and being apart from them.

Thoughts that roamed in my mind as i walked back home.

A friend of mind was walking in front of us when he said, 'what if we go to grassland?'.

The question that lit up eyes, which gives me the sign to really pursue the adventure to the top of Grassland.

We stopped at the moment and talked about going to the top, then as time passed by, we decided to climb the top since it is not everyday that we are there at Buenavista .

We started to walk and walk all the way to Grassland . The alley was scarier than the Crack River . We crossed a very slim alley wherein you have to walk sidewards to fit in. We passed through several paths that are very hard to cross, like when you see a mountain and the slopes of it are the one that you are walking to, like the curves of it all the way to the top , and when you reach the top, there's another slope to walk again with the same pattern on how you should walk for you to be able to pass through and not fall.

I was not able to capture a photo of it since i was really scared that my phone might drop to the dead end of the path and i won't be able to post my experience here and show you guys, the people of Hive how challenging but worth the experience the place is.

Now, we already reach the mid part of grassland and we were able to see the city from above already, so how much more if we would reach the peak of the mountain. I was really really tired that my thighs and legs are starting to feel the pain, but still i keep on going and gaslighting myself that i am still good to go and reach the top.

PicsArt_07-18-07.54.28.jpg

The sky was starting to be a bit cloudy like it was giving us the sign that it would rain, but we didn't mind it and we kept on going. When it was about a hill left to climb, i saw the clouds moving towards us, yes it was moving towards us, it was really scary but breath taking. I was able to touch the clouds, i heard how the air moved it towards us like a whirlwind but without a whirl. I can feel it in my skin, so cold and strong. I saw how the clouds passed through me . It was such a wonderful experience yet traumatizing, since it was my first time to do hiking and reaching the top was a success yet the alleys on the way to the destination was traumatizing.

As we reach the top of Grassland , i saw the city for a moment, as in only a moment, because the rain started to pour and the cold breeze from the top was terribly freezing us. Me and my friends weren't prepared for the rain for the reason that our plan to hike Grassland was a sudden plan and we were at the Crack River just a while ago.

Although we only had a very limited time to see the mesmerizing city, other island and mountains from above for only a minute, our two and a half hours of walk was still worth the view. It was literally priceless. No amount of money can pay the happiness we felt when we saw the breath taking views from above although the rain was the hindrance on our happiness that time.

At the very top of the mountain i have felt the feeling of freedom, free from all pollution of cities , free from things that are bothering me, and free from the people that gives me stress. I was relieved at a moment. A tear flowed on my cheek but the cold breeze wiped it for me. Even though it was raining, i still raise my head and looked up in the sky to thank God for everything He has done in my life, everything .

As we reach home, i captured a very beautiful scenery outside the window and I was stunned yet very relaxing.

From that moment i have realized that life is way too short to waste it from things that are not worth it. Let us enjoy life. Let us travel alot. Go out and Feel the nature . Feel the fresh air and feel your life . It is way too short to worry about tomorrow.

Just remember what God says in Matthew 6:34, Do not worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry itself, each day has enough trouble on it's own.

This is where my blog ends..

Thank you so much for your time in reading this blog, i hope you enjoyed and felt the feeling i had as i travelled on the way to the Grassland . I hope one of this days you will be able to visit and seize the beautiful nature that God has created here in Bacolod .

Thank you so much, and have a lovely beautiful people of Hive.
