Hello everyone. 😊
Today I decided to share one of my favorite places for the Trliste contest. Florya Atatürk Marine Mansion. It is a very special place that everyone living in Istanbul should visit one day.

Herkese Merhaba. 😊

20220121_132405

I usually don't take very good panoramic photos, but I think I took this photo very well. This photo has information about entrance fees.

20220121_132736

Florya Atatürk Marine Mansion looks like this from afar. We went there in January so the weather was a bit gloomy and cold. This is what it looks like from the garden of the mansion.

Florya Atatürk Deniz kökü uzaktan bakınca tam olarak böyle görünüyor. Oraya ocak ayında gitmiştik o yüzden hava biraz kasvetli ve soğuktu. Köşkün bahçesinden bakınca böyle görünüyor.

20220121_125303

I don't know exactly what this building is.

Bu binanın tam olarak ne olduğunu bilmiyorum.

20220121_125518

We bought two student tickets. We paid a total of 10 Trys. I think it's very cheap. I was really excited to see it.

İki tane öğrenci bileti aldık. Toplam 10 Try ödedik. Bence çok ucuz. Orayı göreceğim için gerçekten çok heyecanlanmıştım.

20220121_125646

The outer covering of the mansion is made of wood and white. It looks very nice. This mansion has really good features. Especially the view is very good.

Köşkün dış kaplaması tahtadan ve beyaz renkli. Çok güzel görünüyor. Bu köşkün çok iyi özellikleri var gerçekten. Özellikle manzarası çok iyi.

20220121_132230

The windows you see in this photo are located on the right side of the entrance door of the mansion. There are dinnerware and beverage sets.

Bu fotoğrafta gördüğünüz pencereler köşkün giriş kapısının sağ tarafında yer alıyor. Orada yemek takımları ve içecek takımları var.

20220121_130218

Excitedly, I entered the main door of the mansion and what I saw was really special. It made me feel very strange to know that Atatürk had woven these and used them nearly 100 years ago.

20220121_130412

When we entered the mansion, there was this table right in front of us. Atatürk was holding meetings here at this table. Atatürk's sitting here...

Köşkten içeriye girince tam karşımızda bu masa vardı. Atatürk burada bu masada toplantılar yapıyormuş. Atatürk' ün burada oturmuş olması...

20220121_130432

Here is Atatürk's desk. As you can see, a photo taken while at the desk is on the left.

20220121_130512

Here, too, there are photographs of the people Atatürk sat and talked to. I found out who these people were that day, but I don't remember exactly now.

20220121_130518

Atatürk's library and books. These books are not really Atatürk's books. These are just books that are copies of those books. The real books have been taken elsewhere.

Atatürk' ün kitaplığı ve kitapları. Bu kitaplar gerçekten Atatürk' ün kitapları değil. Bunlar sadece o kitapların kopyaları olan kitaplar. Gerçek kitaplar başka bir yere götürülmüş.

20220121_130529

It's a kind of chalkboard. I think Atatürk was holding meetings here using a kind of chalk. Maybe he used it to teach someone something. I've seen a photo of Atatürk teaching his adopted daughter Ülkü before.

20220121_130644

Atatürk and his adopted daughter Ülkü. I wish photography technology had been much more advanced at that time and we could see more photos of Atatürk.

20220121_130728

Photos taken with Atatürk and his adopted daughter Ülkü. Ülkü Adatepe passed away on August 1, 2012.

20220121_131557

Atatürk's forks, knives and spoons. It seems very strange to me that Atatürk did not use these forks, knives and spoons a hundred years ago.

20220121_130414

There are also cups, bowls and plates here. It is difficult to understand exactly what all of these were used for, but in those times everything was very different compared to these periods.

20220121_130419

There is also some kind of plaque here. After Atatürk declared the Republic, he established several Conservatories and music schools. From here, we can understand how much importance Atatürk attached to music.

20220121_130445

This is the right side of the main entrance to the mansion. The things you see in the glass showcases here are Atatürk's towels and some of the clothes he used.

Burası da köşke ana giriş kapısının sağ tarafı. Burada cam vitrinlerde gördüğünüz şeyler Atatürk' ün havluları ve kullandığı bazı kıyafetler.

20220121_130833

I think that these coffee tables and chairs were for people who came to see Atatürk at that time to sit here and wait. It also has a very good sea view on the side. Of course, even the sea was different back then, I think.

20220121_131519

This is Atatürk's sea hat. There is a photo taken while wearing this hat.

Bu Atatürk' ün deniz şapkası. Bu şapkayı giyerken çekilen bir fotoğraf var.

20220121_131514

There is a white dress and a pair of slippers worn by Ülkü, Atatürk's adopted daughter.

20220121_131545

I don't remember what the thing on the left is in this photo. But the thing on the right is a big towel.

Bu fotoğrafta soldaki şeyin ne olduğunu hatırlamıyorum. Ama sağdaki şey büyük bir havlu.

20220121_131411

Shoes, two hats and handkerchiefs belonging to Atatürk. I think the fabric of these is very good. I think Istanbul was humid and hot at that time. These fabrics are breathable fabrics.

20220121_131425

Atatürk's sea slippers and the swimsuit he used there in Florya.

20220121_131501

This is a kind of heater radiator. I looked for the attendant to ask when this got stuck here but couldn't find it. I forgot to ask on the way out.

20220121_131234

This thing you see in the hallway is actually natural lighting. So it's not an electrically powered light. An excellent design.

20220121_131759

I want you to see this emerging illumination in this way. It's really cleverly designed. This is a one-story mansion. Above this lighting is the roof. In this way, daylight illuminates this mansion. On some nights, maybe the moonlight illuminates this mansion.

20220121_131910

I think this room is probably Ülkü's room because it is the dress of Ülkü, the adopted daughter of Atatürk, whom I saw in the glass showcase.

20220121_131533

When you look out of the room, you can see the sea. On some nights, maybe the moon can be seen directly in front of you. White light. Fascinating and emotional.

Odadan dışarı bakınca deniz görünüyor. Bazı gecelerde tam karşıda ay görünebiliyordur belki de. Beyaz ışık ve yakamoz. Büyüleyici ve duygulandırıcı.

20220121_130915

The structure of the curtain is exactly like this. I think this is a curtain made at that time. Nice and simple design.

Perdenin yapısı tam olarak bu şekilde. O zamanlarda yapılmış bir perde sanırım bu. Hoş ve sade bir tasarım.

20220121_131355

Atatürk's bedroom. Here is a bed and on the left is a bathroom.

20220121_130904

This is the view from another room. There is such a base next to the bed. There is something like a very nicely designed stool between the bed and the base.

20220121_130901

The bathroom on the left side of this room. This chair you see here is actually a scale. A scale that Atatürk regularly checked when he was sick.

20220121_131011

Here is another room. On the wall of this room are photographs of Atatürk and other people swimming in the sea. I wish I could witness those moments...

20220121_131224

Here is one of the photos I mentioned earlier. While Atatürk and our people were swimming together in the sea. There is also a photo of this boat. This boatstill stands firmly.

20220121_131348

Another beautifully designed room overlooking the sea. Everything is very good there. Materials and furniture made of wood.

20220121_131641

A room with a desk and a single bed. Maybe Atatürk once read a book while drinking coffee here...

20220121_131622

The bathroom of the room. Surprised to see toilet seat here. It was so modern and so well designed years ago.

20220121_131216

A photograph of the mansion taken in the 1940s.

Köşkün 1940' lı yıllarda çekilen bir fotoğrafı.

20220121_130625

There is such a Glass Showcase as you exit the mansion. The person you see in this glass showcase is Seyfi Arkan.

Köşkten çıkarken böyle bir Cam Vitrin var. Bu cam vitrinde gördüğünüz kişi Seyfi Arkan.

20220121_131841

Seyfi Arkan is the architect who designed the Florya Atatürk Marine Mansion. I think he is a very good architect because natural lighting is something I really like. I saw it here for the first time.

20220121_131846

20220121_131846

Another photo of Seyfi Arkan and some information about it.

20220121_131903

The wonderful boat that Atatürk used in the photos above. It's amazing that this boat is still standing here intact.

20220121_131935

Here is a photo taken while Atatürk was in the boat and people next to him. The pleasure of victory...

Zaferin zevki...
