Construyendo un culto, alimentando criaturas y buscando venganza [Esp/Eng]

No esperaba terminar administrando un culto, alimentando criaturas y mandando seguidores a cortar madera mientras preparo mi venganza contra quien me traicionó, solo buscaba un juego que fuera ligero porque en mi teléfono me quede sin espacio por el COD y la cantidad de fotos que me guardo.

Me encontré con ese juego que se me hizo chistoso en las imágenes de la tienda. Se llama Idle Cult. Un juego que se trata de armar un culto desde el principio, porque resulta que, al entrar al juego, te muestran una historia, esta historia cuenta como nuestro personaje fue traicionado en medio de un ritual.

I didn't expect to end up running a cult, feeding creatures, and sending followers out to chop wood while I plot my revenge against the person who betrayed me—I was just looking for a lightweight game because I ran out of space on my phone due to COD and all the photos I save.

I came across this game that looked funny in the store screenshots. It’s called Idle Cult. It’s a game where you build a cult from scratch, because when you start the game, they show you a story—a story about how your character was betrayed in the middle of a ritual.

Mientras sus seguidores ayudaban al ritual, y el lograba obtener el poder de la bestia a la que le realizaba el ritual, el compañero que leí el libro justo al lado de él, lo apuñalo por la espalda. Le quitó la máscara a nuestro personaje, le robo el poder y todo lo que había construido (el culto).

While his followers assisted with the ritual—and he managed to obtain the power of the beast upon which the ritual was being performed—the companion who had been reading the book right next to him stabbed him in the back. He ripped off our character’s mask, stole his power, and everything he had built (the cult).

Luego de esas escenas, nuestro personaje decide irse de ahí todo herido, y justo cuando se cayó, la bestia que habían encadenado, también desapareció junto a él. Para que después nos muestren una escena donde nuestro personaje ha caído y ya no tiene el cuchillo en su espalda.

After those scenes, our character decides to leave, badly injured, and just as he falls, the beast they had chained up also disappears along with him. Then we see a scene where our character has fallen and no longer has the knife in his back.

Encuentra una silla, muy similar a un trono, un cadáver con una mascara muy parecida a la que él usaba. Y es aquí cuando la toma, se sienta en este trono, y comienza nuestro trabajo: Construir un nuevo culto hasta recuperar lo que alguna vez fue de él.

He finds a chair—much like a throne—and a corpse wearing a mask very similar to the one he used to wear. And that’s when he takes it, sits down on this throne, and our work begins: to build a new cult until we reclaim what once belonged to him.

Construyendo puertas para convertir a los seguidores en cultistas que ayudaran a que todo dentro de esto surja. Puesto a que cada uno de ellos tendrá un papel que nosotros le asignaremos.

Building doors to turn followers into devotees who will help everything within this come to fruition. Since each of them will have a role that we will assign to them.

Por ejemplo, hasta los momentos en este capítulo uno y dos en donde estoy (casi a punto de pasar al capítulo 3), tenemos la capilla donde rezan los cultitas para reforzar la fe, la cual nos ayudara a realizar nuevas iniciaciones y sacrificios.

For example, so far in Chapters 1 and 2—where I am now (about to move on to Chapter 3)—there is a chapel where the cultists pray to strengthen their faith, which will help us perform new initiations and sacrifices.

Tengo ya un aserradero, donde he puesto a casi todos los cultitas para ganar bastante madera y así avanzar más rápido en los capítulos y mejorar cada lugar dentro del culto.

I already have a sawmill, where I've assigned almost all the cult members to produce plenty of wood so I can progress through the chapters faster and upgrade each location within the cult.

Cuando finalicé el capitulo 1, pase de ÍDOLO DE LA GUARIDA, a ÍDOLO DE MADERA. Y cuando lo hice, desbloqueé la guarida de las criaturas, quienes me ayudaran a obtener recursos para seguir mejorando todo. Y para mi sorpresa, esa primera criatura que tengo que alimentar, es la misma criatura que desapareció con el personaje en el inicio de la historia.

When I finished Chapter 1, I went from LAIR IDOL to WOODEN IDOL. And when I did, I unlocked the creatures’ lair—the creatures that will help me gather resources to keep improving everything. And to my surprise, that first creature I have to feed is the very same creature that disappeared with the character at the beginning of the story.

Además, también tuve una conversación con un personaje que se llama Igor. Este personaje me explica que estoy en un lugar llamado ISKITIM, el rincón olvidado del mundo. Y cuando mi personaje pregunta si antes existió una secta en ese lugar, me responde diciendo que esa historia podría llenar un cementerio, y que esa historia será para otro momento. Y el mismo también me dice que antes de dar mi venganza, debo iniciar con madera, mucha madera.

I also had a conversation with a character named Igor. He explains to me that I’m in a place called ISKITIM, the forgotten corner of the world. And when my character asks if there used to be a cult there, he replies that that story could fill a cemetery—and that it’s a story for another time. He also tells me that before I can exact my revenge, I must start with wood—lots of wood.

Y pues, aquí estoy, poniendo a todos mis cultistas a recolectar bastante madera jajaja. Lo único que me preocupa es que con los sacrificios y al hacer las iniciaciones, me quedo sin seguidores, pero quizás en los próximos capítulos me explican como hacer con eso.

So, here I am, having all my cultists gather up plenty of wood, hahaha. My only concern is that with all the sacrifices and initiations, I'll run out of followers, but maybe in the next few chapters they'll explain how to handle that.
