My Visit to the Swaminarayan Temple Melbourne for Shreemad Bhagwad Katha
I had the wonderful opportunity to visit the Swaminarayan Temple Melbourne and attend the Shreemad Bhagwad Katha which saw notable leaders that travel the global community and got to learn so much more about the event and the cultural significance of it.
Shreemad Bhagwad Katha is one of the most important events in Hinduism and according to The Times of India The Puranas is the most sacred book of Hindus and hosts a detailed account of Lord Krishna.
While the event took place in native tounge I did have the opportunity to have parts of it translated in English and the overall importance of the event was to ensure good health for you and your family, prosperity, get rid of sins, prosperity and attain solace in the foot of Lord Krishna.
Afterwards we enjoyed traditional Indian food which at times for me can be too spicey as I do suffer from a stomach ulcer and it will tend to flare up which is why I avoid spicey food. But it is hard to pass up traditionally cooked meals by cultural leads the flavours are on another level of awesomeness!
We had a great time and look forward to participating in future events.
