RE: A Teen's Heart

Having a teenage daughter and having been a rebellious teenager myself, I understand well your poetry. So far, I know my daughter hasn't shown any interest in anyone, but if she does find someone, I might want her to learn what rejection and heartbreak feel like. I am that kind of mother, as I used to feel that way. That's feeling is the one that led me to be who I am today. "The strong one," as my friends called me.
