Weekend-Engagement writing topics: WEEK 157
Great weekend ahead for everyone.
Thanks to @galenkp for offering a list of ideas to keep creating from where we are.
What's the funniest thing you've ever seen someone do in real life?
Explain the action and the situation, as well as the repercussions of it, in a post of 300+ words and use photos you've personally taken whenever possible.
People do things and we decide whether it makes us feel funny, uncomfortable or some kind of sensation in the moment.
It happened one afternoon a few years ago, in the street where I live and in the area there was a wave of rumours about robberies in the vicinity. The street really looked very lonely, like when we leave the house and we see no one next to us, in front of us, we walk in the street all alone.
I don't know if this was due to those street comments that brought fear or fear of staying in front of their houses as they always did, gathered together as a family, listening to music, sharing.
I was at a cousin's house one house away from mine, my children were with me, I played with their cousins, we laughed, we talked.
My husband was sitting in front of our house, very serious. He saw something happening in a street near ours, he heard arguments and fights... even gunshots, people running because he didn't know where they were coming from, even a person who was running away from them ran precisely towards our street.
When he saw what happened, he forgot his chair, what he did was to run towards his cousin's house, when he came running he shouted: open the door!!! hide!!! none of us knew what was going on, the cousin opened the gate and entered in such a way that he threw himself on the floor as if he was in a pool of water that was being thrown, he thought he was being chased and he said to his cousin: close it!!! close it!!! here they come.
It was a moment of great laughter, after he told what had happened. What we found so funny was the way he came in and threw himself on the floor to protect himself from something. Nobody was coming after him.

Funny to see I'm sure, but more sad that the environment there is such that your area has the potential for trouble causing reactions like this. I bet you all had a great laugh though. 😋
Thank God that atmosphere no longer exists on the streets, thanks for stopping by. Yes, a lot of laughter. Even at the moment of writing it I had to stop, the laughter was too much for me.
Regards
Better a coward alive, than a brave dead ha,ha,ha,ha, I was left wanting to read more friend @mercmarg, you know what a fan I am of good humor, that humor that brings out smiles without mockery or sarcasm, less double entendre ha,ha,aj. I can imagine your poor belly
Amiga, while I was writing I had to stop because the laughter wouldn't let me ha ha ha ha, that happened many years ago. An anecdote that when we bring it back we laugh. Hahaha. Just to see how he threw himself on the floor, ha ha ha ha, to have a camera at that moment would have been fantastic, it remained in the memory of those of us who were there.
