My Introduction to Hive

Hello hive community.

So, I am a newbie here and I would like to introduce myself.

So, first, I would like to say to a big thank you to @attentionneeded for introducing me to the Hive community after pleading because of the effect of others being introduced to the community and plagiarizing. He has warned and gave the rules about the dos and don’ts in the Hive community, and I promise to adhere to them. Thank you once again @attentionneeded.

Who am I?

My name is Ipine Mercy Abbey, and I am a native of Ibani in Bonny local government area of Rivers state, Nigeria. I am 23 years old, I come from a family of 5 children (all girls) even though I would love to have a brother, I still thank God for my family.

All my life, I have always lived in Abuja where my family is based. I went to primary school there called All Saints Nursery and Primary school. After which I attended my junior secondary school in Madonna Secondary school. But because as at the time, they did not have a good and working science lab, I told my dad I wanted to change to a government school which I did, and I was able to complete my senior secondary school in Government Secondary school Tungan-Maje. And now, I am a graduate of Chemical Engineering from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers state, Nigeria. I hope to further my education someday to the point of Ph.D.

I am currently undergoing a training to become a certified data analyst, the idea of using data to make predictions is a waw for me. And I hope I will be able to learn and practice as much as I can because truth be told, the world is moving fast towards the data age, and I would like to be relevant in that aspect in the future. And where I come from, women in tech and highly celebrated so I need to be a part of that community.

I am a very simple person; I love to make friends and hangout though I can be shy at time. I love exploring new things and visiting new places, I also like cooking and playing games. In general, I like making the most of my time.

I hope I am welcomed into the hive community and to make the most of my time here. I have heard a lot about you guys, and I hope to contribute my own quota in whatever way I can.
