LOH CONTEST #119- I MOVE OUT OF MY COMFORT ZONE TO ACHIEVE A GREAT THING
I was the kind of person that always like to be indoors in my room most times and yes I love it in a silent place. Being alone with my phone always and every time is what I call enjoyment because my mindset is it’s nice to be inside and out of people's trouble.
Most times in my former apartments in college before I move into a new one I will be inside my room for a good one week without interacting with the other tenants when all of them gather outside to have fun and talk with one another.
It’s either I am watching movies, reading story books online, or scrolling through social media.
I love my comfort zone too much that at times people will come to ask me if I am okay because they don’t see me outside talking with people and they have been situations where people came knocking on my door to check if everything is okay with me if they don’t see me outside.
But we all know being in your comfort zone all the time is not good and it makes a person lose a lot of life opportunities and not be able to connect with people that might make your life good or worth living for. One thing about me is I love writing and it’s something that I enjoy doing a lot which makes me yearn for a place where I can write and earn which I search for a long time but I didn’t see any and those that I was introduced to where all scam and not real.
Then luckily one day, when I move into my new apartment, I heard one of the neighbours saying that a lady that stays inside their room writes for a platform and she earns money from it and which makes her work from home at her own convenient time.
After hearing all this, I develop interest in what they were saying and I took the first step which is getting out of my comfort zone to meet the lady to teach me how the platform works. That’s how I got to know about hive and I get to interact with her on a daily basis and ask her questions about anything I am confused about which she always happily helps me out.
What did I accomplish?
Since I get onboarded on hive by that beautiful lady, my writing skills have been improving and I have been earning from writing too which means I am gaining two things at once.
I meet a lot of goal-oriented people on hive and that is a blessing to me because they all impacted my life in one way or the other.
Hive is a great accomplishment for me and I am happy to be here.

It’s not bad to be an introvert too as long as you enjoy your company and can achieve a lot inside just like you’re doing in the hive community!! Keep getting better at your writing craft lady !!

I totally understand that feeling, I am also happy to be here, Hive is a great place to spend our time. I am not a friend of traditional social networks, because I consider my time is valuable and I don't like to waste it, however, here, I feel I invest it and it's a great thing!
