Pokemon Fire-Red Wartortle

Hello my fellow geeksazoids!
Today I am going to tell you about my experience in Pokémon Fire Red.

I have been playing pokemon for years now and I've goten pretty good now.
I've goten all the starters and their max evolutions. My favorite is Bulbasaur
because he sweeps through the first two gyms, Brock the leader of the rock type gym and Misty the leader of the water type gym. Bulbasaur learns vine whip which is a real help against the first gyms. Please tell me in the comments if you are in the Bulbasaur squad!

I was actually very close to finishing the game with my first team in the elite four.
Here was my team!

Pidgeot	Machamp	Venusaur
Normal	Fighting	Grass
Flying	None	Poison
Lapras	Moltress	Dugtrio
Water	Fire	Ground
Ice	Flying	None

It was a really cool team (any guesses why I keep on saying was?).
There I was facing on one of the elite four Bruno a fighting type master.
I had my Machamp out and I heard a strange sound the computer was over heating and then broke. I cried and cried for I had to start all over again.

IN GAME

So I woke up and barely greeted my mom and set my journey to become a Pokémon master. I walked right into the grass and as always professor oak stops you and drags you into his lab to choose your starter Pokémon and says:

"Choose one of these Pokémon." But then your rival shows up (In this chase I name him Gary just because it feels right) and is like:

"Me wants one Pokémon 2!"

I take my Pokémon Squirtle. Firstly because I haven't had a Blastoise for a long time, secondly because a blastoise would be really cool and thirdly the water starter line sweeps right thought Brock's Pokémon.

So the Adventure begins and I almost step through the door when rival Gary challenges me to a pokemon battle and do you know what happens to stupid people? They get beaten in pokemon.

I'm just gonna skip some stuff in the story. We arrive at Mt. Moon and I get myself a Zubat and Jiggypuff. Even though a Clefairy is way better than a Jiggypuff I just wanted to evolve it into a Wigglytuff and I have never really had a Jiggypuff.

Right after that I fought Misty and then... no more Squirtle... he evolved into a Wartortle and that was really cool. Also I forgot to mention that I got a Caterpie and evolved it all the way into a Butterfree.

In Pokemon Sword and Shield I was so surprised to find that you can't nickname your rival Hop and he chooses the weakest Pokemon to yours instead of choosing the strongest starter to face your first pokemon.
