First Unity Community Challenge - The Most Important Knowledge To Me

Knowledge, once gotten can't easily go away (Although, it's possible with dementia patients huh?) Well, that's by the way. From birth, one is bound to know from the most little things to the most important things. There is no way a person can grow without having a knowledge about so many things. A child learns how to crawl, walk and talk... Those are all knowledge they can't grow without.

Every knowledge is important and useful for our living but we can't deny the fact that there are rankings to what we know and wish to know. Even though I won't be of the opinion that one should know everything, it's best to never stop getting knowledge of different things and aspects of life.

Learning never ends, they say and that means gaining knowledge shouldn't have a stop so long one is alive. A friend of mine sometime ago once told me that he wish he could get the knowledge every person in this world had, so he could be the most wisest and become the first man with all the knowledge in the world.

He may have sounded funny back then but thinking about it now, would that action really make him great? I've seen cases where too much knowledge gotten in the wrong way caused mental issues 😂 so I guess that would have been his case if it had happen.

I think I'm going out of point now, back to the question... What is the most important knowledge?

There are trillions of knowledge in the world today, saying one is the most important is like "removing a tiny stain from a total messed up dress" I hope that wasn't a too awkward way to make my point 😅 I'm saying it isn't an easy question considering the fact that there are knowledge we're yet to find out for ourselves.

Anyways, I've thought about this and one knowledge that can't stop coming to mind after much thoughts happens to be the most important to me. Before I tell you what it is, you should know that it doesn't have to be the most important to you (it is for me) and I'll love to know more about your most important knowledge... Learning never ends, remember?

Knowing One's Essence of Living

The knowledge of our Creator, his wonderful works on earth, a supernatural being, his unlimited knowledge and love, his plans for humanity... All that are knowledge that every person should have so long they could read and understand or watch and understand... Either ways, it's a must get knowledge (from my perspective).

While that is an important knowledge, I still feel knowing oneself and the essence of living is more important. As this knowledge will also mean you knowing why you were created by the Mighty maker. I don't know for others but this is not just the most important knowledge to me, it is also the most difficult knowledge to gain.

From when I was little to I was about 18 or so, I had no knowledge of who I really am... I'm serious about that. It's not like I know myself well now but I've come to know a lot about myself after studying, communicating and learning to know people around me. That is one secret I've learned, you know people, feel excited, get heartbroken, face real challenges and you learn a thing or two about yourself.

Gaining the knowledge of oneself won't be easy if one is locked up in his or her own way of thinking, trying to be your own self in the most secluded way you could think of. I've always thought that being on my own will help me gain knowledge about who I really am. While that could help to some extent, there would be more results when people see you for who you are and you learn from what they say about you.

If I could know myself totally (which I don't think it's possible to some extent), that would be a very valuable knowledge to me. Because one's knowledge about oneself goes a long way in knowing more about what life presents.

Know yourself first, other knowledge comes in after.
