Hello Hive Open Mic!
I'm here again and excited as well. It's a new week and as usual, a new theme is selected. Congrats to our spotlight artist who is a dear Hive friend @jasperdick love your theme choice 🙌 and I'm happy to share a song for the theme.

The theme for the week is "War", I didn't think too much on the song I'll connect to it as I've been listening to this song for a while now... "Powerful By Empire Cast". The song has literally all the words and encouragement every citizen of a country would need to hear and know against or during war.
I haven't witness any war in my life but I've heard a lot of stories and even some going on in some countries well enough to know the damage a war can cause so everyone prays for peace and unity in every country. War affects a lot of lives, I imagine a country where war is happening and I see different things that are a bother.
People losing their lives, Children turned to orphans if not dead, Properties damaged, people living in fear and insecurities... It's all an unpleasant experience.
We don't pray for war and this song teaches us to accept us and know that we all matter in one way or the other so there should be no discrimination or whatever that would lead to disagreements and to war. We are powerful and strong when we have each others' back even in a time of war.

War destroys things. Thank God we weren't there when war started. I salute those involved and who fought a great fight for us. The impact it leaves in the end is always traumatising but we keep staying determined and full of strength.
