It's Physical Shopping Over Online Shopping For Me

There are just some things that don't need comparison as they have their own advantages and disadvantages, same goes with online shopping and physical shopping, the two are great ways of shopping but truth be told, online shopping is taking over and I know for sure that I'll have to blend in on the long run to fit into the world's progression.

But it's Physical Shopping option for me...

I grew up with this method of shopping and I've gotten used to it but another reason I'll prefer it is that I've seen and experienced that some online shopping aren't what they seem and most times for me, they turn to a total waste of time, energy and money.

You may find these reasons I'll give funny but they are just the simple truth about why I prefer physical shopping.

A victim of what I ordered versus what I got

Maybe I just run out of lucks with buying stuffs online or something like that, I always end up getting what I don't like even though the items are similar. I remember a time I ordered a bag, it looked bigger in the sample that made me paid for it but when it got delivered, even a little girl would reject such a tiny bag... It was so tiny and very obvious that they did some photoshop on the sample I saw.

But if I was to buy it physically, I'll definitely see the size of bag I need, try out clothes I'm not sure would fit in and even give complaint immediately to the seller if something goes wrong... Physical shopping saves me from the trauma of seeing what I didn't expect.

Chance of going out and hopefully meet someone or find something new

I know I won't have to order everything online even if I was an online shopaholic but I'm definitely going to be missing out on that going out often and meeting new faces if I'm focused on buying online more than physical buying... Yes, it's a reason for me because I can't count the number of times I've met people who are interesting simply because I left my house to get stuffs myself and sometimes I even run into old time friends.

I'm one that loves to watch people, see new things and get to learn about something I didn't know before, physical shopping has helped me with that a lot since I hardly go out on my own or travel often. Online shopping will be boring style of shopping for me if I'm to be exact with words.

I get to negotiate prices for comfortable spending

I'm about to spend my money and one online thrift store will be like "It's not negotiable ma'am" and then because I like the stuff so much, I'll be like "Okay, send your details" 🙄 No way! I've hardly done that because I prefer going for things I need offline and I get to even befriend the seller until I get what I want at a cheaper price but same quality.

Browsing through different products before settling for one is also another thing I enjoy when I shop physically unlike online where I get convinced to buy something almost the same time I saw it, although I've had those scenarios but never fell for it though.

My issue with physical shopping is that, I get lazy to go out sometimes and it's time consuming while taking my energy which if things go well, online shopping will save me from all of that. I know I'll get into the habit of online shopping in the future but for now, I'm for physical shopping.

What about you? What's your online shopping experience?

Physical shopping affords you the luxury of getting lower rates that you wouldn't get from online shops because it's not negotiable. 😅

Yes, physical shopping allows you to not only negotiate the price; you also have physical access to the item and can see if it suits your tastes before purchasing it.

One hidden truth that introvert people are yet to admit is that they don't like, and want to go outside to avoid being seen😁.. they'll never admit this 🤣

The price haggling is for sure, even though I'm cheated I won't have the feeling cos I priced it to what I was able to pay. But the online? "If you wn buy, leave it"😏😏

You have said it all!
But honestly, have you gotten to see the eagerness to get what you want in the market only for the seller to pause you on " it' is the fixed price ma'am" and you just mute and act all big-girl lmao... I would just say okay I will be back! Sometimes it is stressful to buy things outside but it has its own benefits too.
Before you know it? Your circle of friends grows larger.

Yeah, Physical shopping takes the lead for me too. the worse case is getting what you'll end up not using online, due to the size or the way it looks like....

But shopping, I will have to see and touch what I want to get, and there's room for negotiation, but online shopping, you'll have to pay the price you see there...

Well, I guess nothing is complete eventually... We can't have it all.
Although in my defense, this same time consuming and energy spent is better than hanging your hopes on thread of the dispatch couriers.... Sometimes, you might even think you've been scammed before the goods finally arrive.

Great reasons for your pick
