Keeping myself in check for my set goals on Hive

It's been almost three weeks since I started to pay very close attention to how fast and slow my Hive power grows, the result have been good enough as I do see significant changes everyday.

And it's been four days since I began the Hive power month badge challenge in hopes of growing my Hive power and also making sure to submit a post daily... Everything's been good about that too.

It's been good but not without my daily fights...

As a goal setter and achiever, there must be those moments you face and tend to lose touch of your goals but still find a way to get back to it and forge ahead even stronger. This has been happening to me daily since I crossed my mind to focus on my goals for this month.

I'll share those things with you and you can share yours or ways to stay stronger on one's goals.

I have to save more to grow my Hive power but that would mean I need to manage the money I've kept to spend... But then, all the kinds of temptations of food have been around me since I decided that haha. I mean, just yesterday I was chatting with a friend and we were trying to encourage ourselves in getting to our goals and he reminded me not to fall for the love of Sharwama and yoghurt drinks 😂

Yes, I do enjoy eating shawarma and drinking my yoghurt drinks (I'm thinking maybe I should start a business of that) it may help with getting rid of the too much love I have for it. Well, I got his message and now it's up to me to decide if I'll adhere to his advice or not.

I won't say I'll totally abstain from eating those because in the end, I'm trying to make money for my stomach sake and other reasons so eating what my stomach needs isn't so much out of goal.

So one of those things that's affecting my goal is my cravings... It's in check though.

Another thing I've been facing while on my goal is stress, headaches and letting myself get so hungry before I eat... I'll say it's normal for these to happen in other for one to keep up with one's goals but then, I'm advising myself to keep it in check.

Goals are meant to be achieved but not with bad health or bad mood haha. I would love to be in my best mood when I achieve my goals at the end of the month, for that reason, I plan to rest when I can and go on with my goals even stronger.

I would have given update on how far I've gone with my goals but I think it's still too early, maybe later in the month but trust me, it's been going amazingly well for me. I appreciate my gang, they've been everywhere keeping me in check with their beautiful comments and even a post from them is a motivation to me.

I can't wait to see all of us get to our different goals and I look forward to that excitedly. For now, I've got to focus on how to get rid of my little hindrances and stick to my goals until my achievement day... Yes, you can wish me well again hehe.

I can tell you from experience that if you persist with writing on Hive and put effort into your content, you will succeed. It doesn't happen overnight. I spent years earning cents and maybe a couple of dollars on my posts. I took a break and returned a couple of weeks ago to some success. Even during bear markets, Hive is a tremendous opportunity to write and make money. Because I powered down when I left, I'm starting from scratch, too and growing my account without spending any money on Hive, just pure grind and determination. Good luck.

You better stop craving for more shawarma and yoghurt to achieve your goals quickly 😂😂 Do you know what? I am thinking of getting more money to grow my Hive power too and I am putting that in my mind before the end of this year. Once my mind is set on something, I won't rest until I achieve it. Lol

It's inspiring seeing you set goals and it urges me to do same.

Honestly discipline I'd everything! Like your thing for sharwama and yoghurt, I can completely relate.

Now, I'm of the opinion that if I can discipline myself on what goes into my mouth then I can discipline myself to stick by whatever goals I set.

Whatever the case may be, self-awareness and persistence are essential.

We are all aware that good health necessitates regular exercise, eating healthy foods in adequate quantities, and so on. We fail at these because we are not consistent enough.

That is correct. I regret every single moment of my time before where I drink,smoke and just eat whatever I want, and I now have to take my hypertension medication for the rest of my life. If only I would listen to what the doctor says.

Glad you are fighting through the temptations :) And you're right, we should not deprive ourselves with enjoyment too and we have to be wary when it comes to our health. There is no use getting into bad shape just to reach our goals.
