My Hair Care Day - Hair relaxation
After so much procrastination, I decided to visit the salon to go make my hair look better. It's been exactly five months since I last added a relaxer to my hair and if you know what that means, my hair has been causing headaches for me every now and then.
It's always advisable to retouch one's hair with the right relaxer product once one stops growing a natural hair. I had grow my natural hair until it was three years old and decided to add a relaxer. It's been one of my regretful decision 😅 but I still love my hair though.
From what you could see, it doesn't look too good when you waste too much time before you add relaxer to it. I miss my natural hair so much but there's nothing I can do about that because I really can't imagine myself growing my hair all over again.
I didn't go to the salon store without my own hair relaxer, I've noticed some salon sell a bit higher than what it actually costs so I made sure I bought at the market on my way to the salon I wanted to have my hair retouched.
ORS Olive Oil Relaxer... I've been retouching my hair for more than three years now and this has been the product I've been using. Although I tried one new relaxer product that was recommended to me but it didn't go well with my hair so I stopped and continued with this relaxer.
The relaxer isn't so expensive but it got more expensive within the three years I've been using. It costs 2 dollars and half now, a bit too much for a relaxer? I'm not so sure though but it's a good product for my hair and that counts for me.
The hair had long overdue, it was so painful while the salon girl was opening up my scalp to add the relaxer but I had to bear with it to get well relaxed. I caused it for myself after all 🥲 it took her almost 30 minutes to add and make sure the hair was well relaxed before she left the hair.
One thing with my hair is that it gets relaxed so easily, it didn't take much time after she left the hair before I started asking for a wash. She boiled some warm water and took me outside to wash the cream off my hair.
You know that feeling of the water touching your scalp after adding the cream to your hair for more than the time you could bear with... It was so calming and sweet 😅 the salon girl was so careful and soft with my hair, I almost slept off.
She washed the hair for what seemed like 15 minutes and dried up a bit before we went inside for the next step.
To dry the hair with the hair dryer, she added an hair conditioning to my hair and roll them up with plastic hair rollers. At this point, my hair was back to life but not totally.
And this is me sitting for some minutes under the hair dryer to get the final look of my almost dying hair. The hair dryer wasn't so hot at the beginning but it got hotter as I c on tiny to sit under it... I had to complain to get out of it 😅 the hair was dry enough though.
And that is how my hair have been looking... So beautiful, shining and soft to touch. I just have to add normal hair cream, comb and repack it then I'm good to go until I decide my next hair style.
I think I spent up to two hours at the hair salon but it was worth it, I got my beautiful hair look back and paid the fee then went back home.
Después de tanta procrastinación, decidí visitar el salón para ir a mejorar mi cabello. Han pasado exactamente cinco meses desde la última vez que agregué un alisador a mi cabello y si sabes lo que eso significa, mi cabello me ha estado causando dolores de cabeza de vez en cuando.
Siempre es recomendable retocarse el cabello con el producto relajante adecuado una vez que deja de crecer un cabello natural. Dejé crecer mi cabello natural hasta los tres años y decidí agregar un alisador. Ha sido una de mis decisiones lamentables 😅 pero todavía amo mi cabello.
Por lo que puedes ver, no se ve muy bien cuando pierdes demasiado tiempo antes de agregarle un relajante. Extraño mucho mi cabello natural, pero no hay nada que pueda hacer al respecto porque realmente no puedo imaginarme dejándome crecer el cabello nuevamente.
No fui a la tienda del salón sin mi propio alisador para el cabello, he notado que algunos salones venden un poco más de lo que realmente cuesta, así que me aseguré de comprar en el mercado de camino al salón que quería tener mi pelo retocado.
ORS Olive Oil Relaxer... Llevo más de tres años retocándome el pelo y este ha sido el producto que uso. Aunque probé un nuevo producto relajante que me recomendaron, pero no me fue bien con el cabello, así que paré y continué con este relajante.
El relajante no es tan caro, pero se volvió más caro en los tres años que he estado usando. Cuesta 2 dólares y medio ahora, ¿demasiado para un alisador? Aunque no estoy tan seguro, es un buen producto para mi cabello y eso cuenta para mí.
El cabello se había retrasado mucho, era tan doloroso mientras la chica del salón abría mi cuero cabelludo para agregar el relajante, pero tuve que soportarlo para relajarme bien. Después de todo, lo causé yo misma 🥲 le tomó casi 30 minutos agregar y asegurarse de que el cabello estuviera bien relajado antes de dejarlo.
Una cosa con mi cabello es que se relaja tan fácilmente, no pasó mucho tiempo después de que ella dejó el cabello antes de que comenzara a pedir un lavado. Hirvió un poco de agua tibia y me llevó afuera para lavarme la crema del cabello.
Conoces esa sensación del agua tocando tu cuero cabelludo después de agregar la crema a tu cabello por más tiempo del que podrías soportar... Fue tan relajante y dulce 😅 la chica del salón fue tan cuidadosa y suave con mi cabello que casi dormido
Se lavó el cabello durante lo que parecieron 15 minutos y se secó un poco antes de entrar para el siguiente paso.
Para secar el cabello con el secador de cabello, agregó un acondicionador para el cabello a mi cabello y lo enrolló con rulos de plástico. En este punto, mi cabello volvió a la vida, pero no del todo.
Y esta soy yo sentada durante unos minutos debajo del secador de pelo para obtener el aspecto final de mi cabello casi moribundo. El secador de pelo no estaba tan caliente al principio, pero se puso más caliente cuando puse a tiny a sentarme debajo de él... Tuve que quejarme para salir de él 😅 aunque el cabello estaba lo suficientemente seco.
Y así ha quedado mi pelo... Tan bonito, brillante y suave al tacto. Solo tengo que agregar crema para el cabello normal, peinarlo y volver a empaquetarlo, luego estoy listo hasta que decida mi próximo peinado.
Creo que pasé hasta dos horas en la peluquería, pero valió la pena, recuperé mi hermoso cabello, pagué la tarifa y luego regresé a casa.

Nice taking care of your hair. I took my hair back to virgin hair some five years ago. I got tired of buying different relaxers not producing good result on my hair. Now, I just wash normally, cream and braid into anything I want. Your hair looks nice and long, Sis. Well done
