My Life As A Korean Citizen

Wait! Before you crucify or attack me that I'm not from Korean, this is solely for the purpose of a contest I'm entering for and my love for that country and I'm so going to have fun writing and letting my imaginations run wild on this one... Please let me!!!

So I was given a chance to take a 100 million dollars to stay in my country Nigeria for all my life with just short time visit to other countries but I thought... Why not reject the money and start a new life in my country of choice?

Honestly, I think if we were given the opportunity to choose the country we want to be born into, I would be one of those who would never even imagine being born to Nigeria. No, I love my country to be honest and that is because I've grown in it to see things that could keep me here all my life and still live to the fullest.

But, there is a but... I want to go start a new life in my country of choice if this is the only way I can (writing my imaginations).

So allow me guide you through on how I would live in Korean after being born 😊 see as body is sweeting for what I'm imagining... Not sure I'll be able to write all of it but I'm going to try anyways.

My life as a Korean Kid

Maybe five years after being born, I'll be able to tell that I have a wealthy father who owns SK group of companies and a mother who owns one of the biggest native restaurants in Seoul. A good speaker of my native language and a grandma who loves me so much that she cares too much so that I don't feel my parents don't have my time.

Yeah, I would care if they don't have my time but will feel better so long I'm being taken care of with lots of money and gifts.

At the ripe age for schooling, I'll be going to one of the best schools in Seoul not so far from home, taking ballet classes after school and also a music/piano class to improve my skills in my favourite activity (singing).

My life as a Korean college girl

Being a new girl in school but popular because of my beautiful looks and the popular wealthy father I have who happens to have a big share in the school I'm in. I would be made a school prefect for my brilliant results and love for school activities especially the school musicals programs.

Every guy would be my friend, we would hang out in my mum's big restaurants after school to enjoy her delicious Korean beef steak. We would fight sometimes, get heart breaks but move on. My friends would get close to me because of my wealth but I'll have a few genuine ones who love and advice me on better ways to spend my parents money.

My girlfriends and I would go for shopping, make overs and auditions as music lovers. Grandma would always support my ideas and even hide a few things from her son (my dad).

My life as a Korean adult (career woman)

I would have graduated as one of the best students making my parents proud of me and my dad will pressure me into working in one of his biggest companies from the lowest level which I won't mind after seeing lots of benefits that could come out of it.

My first days at the company would be disastrous as I would meet a guy who pisses me off all the time, he would also be pissed off by me and our team leader would pair us up for work duties then I'll realize he's not so bad and start falling for him.

We would slowly fall for each other but just when we are about confessing to each other our love, dad would come up with a blind date which I'll be forced to go even with grandma's intervention 😢 then I'll meet a nerd looking guy who eats like a lion and always on a call through out our date.

My life as a Korean mum

Of course, I'll marry the man I love and loves me back... We would have cute twin kids who we would give the best as I would be the owner of one of my father's company and my husband is an architect who is popular for his skills.

I would be getting the "Oma" "Sarange" from my kids and husband a lot and we would go on family trips since I hardly did with my own parents 😒 we would have our place situated close to an ocean where the kids and I will have fun together whenever I'm free (I would mostly be free as a CEO who has competent workers).

My husband would give me gifts on a regular basis as he keeps falling in love with me even though we would fight sometimes in the kids absence. Our kids will boost of my husband and I at school where they are popular too because of their grand father's wealth 🥲

My life as a Korean grandma

By now, my grandma would be dead and my parents super old and waiting for death to take them (maybe never die 🥲). My kids would have become adults who gets headache from their kids and sends them to me.

As a soft hearted grandma, my grandkids would love to hang around me and we would play a lot until they go back again for school sessions and to their parents. I'll resort to taking care of my old husband and also take care of our beautiful garden.

I'll grow to old age and live a fulfilled life... I'll stop here, I don't want to die 🤣🤣

Did you read till this place? Well, I appreciate but hey! It's all just an imagination I got from seeing a lot of Korean movies which I love to do all the time. I had so much fun writing this and I hope you did too (Well, maybe only the Kdrama lovers would relate more)
