My Three Great Tunes From The Greatest Showman
If you've seen the movie "The greatest Showman" you'll agree with me that every song sang in that movie has it's own uniqueness and full of inspiration according to the aspect you listen to them from. The greatest Showman is one of the first non - animation movie I saw that I loved the musical aspect of it more than any other movie.
I've seen a lot of other musical genre focused movies but this movie stands out more as I find the songs even more memorable in my head than a lot of others. I read somewhere that most of the songs sang in "The Greatest Showman" are original and written for the movie... No wonder the uniqueness and originality, don't you think?
If there are tunes I'll chose from the almost long list of songs sang in this movie, it's these three I'll share now... They are my favourite and I always refer to them as my great songs from The Greatest Showman. You may not find your favourite here (For you who have seen the movie) it doesn't mean those others aren't great too, I only have to share three tunes you know.
Never enough by Loren Allred
If I'm to rank the songs from the most difficult for me to the easiest, this song takes the first place... Well, I can sing it way better than before, that's a plus for me. It's a song that I loved how powerful the lyrics are.
The character who sang the song in the movie displayed so much strength and energy to give out the song in the most powerful way, her gestures shows the song even more than the lyrics does.
The song talks about having what others may tag as "Everything" but you still feel incomplete because you don't have the one you love living you back. It's a powerful one sided love song, from the angle I see it.
Rewrite the stars by Anne-Marie and James Arthur
Talking about making the impossible possible, this song is it! Although it's in the love aspect from the lyrics, but I feel inspired from it as well. Even though the world is against it, doesn't make it impossible to make the world love it.
So many things are meant to be difficult for more value and that is what I think when I listen to this song. No matter how everything seem rough and impossible, just think possibilities and it will be so.
The song is sang by two lovers who can't seem to get together because they feel the parents will kick against if they press on. In the end, they fought for their love and won... That is possibility!
From Now On by Hugh Jackman
I would be cheating if I say this is my favourite song from the Greatest Showman, but maybe it really is because it's the first I downloaded to my phone before the others. A realization song, coming to terms with true happiness (home, where we are from originally).
The song beginning is so calm and soothing as the singer gradually realizes himself from the path he was walking on to where the song took a sweet heat as he ran towards his source of happiness that he had been taking for granted (home).
If you saw the video, do you see their dance steps? I couldn't help but love those dance steps... I know it's not the song but it is a part of the song and a reason I love the song too.
The movie isn't a very new release so please pardon the video quality I found, I should guess listening to the songs is worth more than what the quality says hehe... I hope you love my selection for today.
These tunes sound rich and melodious.
