My Traveling Chronicle - Light & Easy, All In One

As a lover of exploring the road whether to a new place or where I know very well, I just love it when I have to move from one place to another for different purposes and it's even sweeter when I have fun and succeed in whatever I set out on that travel to achieve.

Traveling is a hobby to many, a business to some and a must do act for some even though they don't like it. For me, it is a hobby I'm yet to do as often as I want to so it's still in the category of "I have or I must travel" for now.

Among the many joys of traveling is being able to visit new places, learn new things, get more ideas and grow one's experiences. I've had all that play out in my little traveling experiences. The most fun part is being around different people, it's really fascinating the kind of people we meet in the bus (the vehicle I use mostly).

Sadly, I haven't had as much travel plans as I want to have but with the few I've gone on, I have realized I'm the kind that loves to travel as light and easy as possible. I think I got this trait from my mum, if there is one person that hates carrying load from one place to another, it's my mum.

That's actually enough reason to hate traveling but somehow I love traveling and so I choose to go light and easy.

Going light and easy means, I am very calculative of the clothings I go with and down to how they will be arranged inside the bag... It's mostly one bag, I don't like having my other hand occupied preparing for situations where I'll need to use my hand to pay bills, handle my phone and be in a comfortable state as I travel.

This might be funny but I've once counted the days I'll spend in my destination and counted the clothes I'll wear there, I even removed some with the mind that I'll wear some after washing over there, how the load reduces to light and easy is always a joyful thing for me.

Long travels are my favourite so long the nights do not meet me on the way except I'm on my way to a very familiar place like my home. For someone who loves long distance travels, it won't even make any sense to like carrying too much along so I guess this is one reason to justify while I love to go light on my travels.

Before now, I would carry anything I can carry not minding the discomfort I'll feel when I get home but that changed since the time I traveled with very little load and still lived there comfortably. There are other trivial but fun reasons I prefer going light on a long travel, I'll share some.

How nice it feels not to worry about your luggages being compressed or put in a state of destruction, I never like that when it happens to me, I don't know about others lol.

Another reason is that I get to sit very comfortable, watch from my window or see movies in my phone with no pressure of how to keep a big bag safe disturbing me. This is more fun when the bus is a very spacious one, I've had a few experiences like it that lives in my memory till now.

One more reason is in regards to security and safe landing. With a huge load, highlighting from the vehicle and unpacking can be very uncomfortable for me. I try to avoid anything of such when I travel, the traveling experience is felt better when it is light and easy, all in one bag.
