KNOWING BODMAS
Hello! math bugs(๐) and hivers(๐)
This time I have come up with tricky part of BODMAS rule of simplification.
Though most you are familiar with it, I wanted to share a tricky part of it which many of you may not know.Let's try solving the following expression and see if both sides equal or not:
Yeah if we solve left hand side and right hand side separately, they are equal but the problem doesn't end here. Let's check example as given below :
If you still do not get it, let's get to next picture which may help you to understand:
Yeah, the expression 2(3+4) comes together because it means 2 of (3+4) and in other words the "2" were inside multiplied with both 3 and 4. We can't say the expression 2(3+4)=2ร(3+4) is not always true when it comes in the middle of other algebraic function specially the sign "รท" before or after.
POINTS TO BE NOTED:
There no rigid rule you find on this planet and that's true even for mathematics.
Rules or formulas are generalised statement of complicated staff and so it may change as needed.
I hope you have liked the concept.
Thank you for stooping by
See you around
