A New Year Toast to Hive

2023 was a real tribulation for me financially. I am looking forward to a better 2024.

I am an interpretionist of sorts. During 2020, I said that it will be an eye opener because 2020 is synomous to clear vision (20/20). And then we had the pandemic on March 2020. It literally stirred the glass and all those settling on the bottom were brought out in the open. It opened our eyes how the government is either really good or bad, among other things covid uncovered.

2021, I interpreted as degeneration because 21, from 2 then we have a 1, so a descending order. Also continuation of the covid tempest.

2022 was a level year as 2 and 2 is pretty much the same.

2023 I envisioned a slight improvement as the digits
are ascending from 2 to 3 in 23.

2024 though I would associate with two things, a doubling in terms of growth of whatever it is because the digits 2 and 4 from 24 is a 100% increase.

My other interpretation is that 24 I would associate with the number of hours in a day. Personally I would say we need to take stock of how we spend our 24 hours. How do we maximize our time as our capacity to earn, our health and relationship building are all dependent on how we spend our time.

This is just my reading of 2024. I would also emphasize on the number 8. 8 corresponds to the 20th hour since 2024 is really the whole picture.

Going back to the doubling, at least my goal would be to double my hive power this year, which i think is really doable. Of course if I could triple or do better I would pounce on the chance.

Alas, I would also wish that people take Hive or at least being here on Hive more seriously. Hive has what it takes to be a blockchain that can take off in an instant. Just engage more. Posting more is also encouraged on a personal level, but we are a community and community depends on engagements with every member of the community. Thats my other goal this year is to be more engaged and meet more Hivers not just by upvotes but through comments that could lead to conversations.

Remember, no other blockchain monetizes posts as Hive does. We are a true decentralized social media platform so lets take advantage of that in this year of 2024!!!

Although I was in financial turmoil for 2023 and was really down, it kinda allowed me to give Hive a more thorough instrospection. I stopped blogging I think right after the pandemic and then somehow found my groove back to post again here late in 2023, around October I think.
