Doing Another Run for Time Trial 6 12/30/2023

I don't usually do a rerun when I have done a time trial because its costly on resources but I wanted to see if I did a mistake on choosing a boost.

At first I choose an orchidoga (a boost to increase instinct skill) boost and I did okay. I was ranked at 120th out of over 300 other dogs. It was a pretty good run considering my dog, Fernandog is only bronze tier.

For the second run I decided to do the same powerstones and used them both on the same portions of the track but this time I used a different boost. This time I used a zenvine (to boost balance skill).

At first I used orchidoga thinking I have stronger instinct stats than balance stats and that it would be the wiser choice. I will get more boosts on parts I have more advantage powerstone-wise.

But I was uneasy. So I used the zenvine this time thinking since I already have boosts on the violet portions that maybe I will go faster if I have added boost on the balance parts of the track.

My theory is that I will have boosts for more parts od the track if I go with zenvine.

And it worked, i did really came up with a slightly faster results. From 129th, I was able to land at 106th on the second run.

Lesson learned, more areas boosted, the better the results. Though I had better Instinct stats, when I used orchidoga I had more boosts only on half part of the track. The green boost (zenvone) gave me more areas boosted and so the results was a tad faster.

You can watch the video to see what I'm referring to.
