I have been giving myself some micro-goals, to make it easy to keep building and growing my crypto related businesses during this bear.

My ultimate goal is to be able to live off my crypto investments

I used to believe that spending time trying to learn about each and every one of the projects available was a sure bet. Find that x 100 unicorn that will take my $100 and turn it into $10,000, rinse and repeat, and BOOM wealth.

That was a silly plan.

Finding projects that pay high interest rates, and giving the income generated there the gift of time seems a lot more plausible.

One project I am slowly building is my HBD savings right here on HIVE. I have written about using HBD as a part of a retirement plan and also how I can use HBD to hep pay for my children's college books (please not that the interest rate paid by HODLing HBD varies, and is currently at 20%).

Each project on the blockchain that I am investing my time and energy into, is like building a tiny little passive income stream

Researching each project is much like researching stocks, you can either look into the project yourself, or you can pick a trusted analyst to do the research for you.

I always make sure to read about the people who are building the projects, how they plan on growing them long term, and I also read their individual white papers.

As much as I love the HIVE ecosystem, the interest and wealth generated by the HIVE blockchain, is just one step of the crypto puzzle

It is much like the garden I am growing in my backyard.

Sure, I can "just" let purse-lane grow wild in my yard (which is one of the many ways to prepare for a depression), but I can also take the time to cultivate some tomatoes, peppers, and onions.

Which is why I am now building out

One of the things that has stopped me from growing metaphorical crypto tomatoes, is studying too much, and not taking enough action

If you read enough posts on how to successfully build an online business, you will find that niche niche niche is the answer.

The riches are in the niches they say, and "they" seem to be right, since "they" have businesses and I don't.

Except I do have a business, and it is a wealth generating one too.

It just has too many micro steps involved to be considered a niche

Perhaps I should leave the great advice to the people who blog about blogging, and take the advice I know works which is:

"Done is better than perfect, get your project out there NOW and change to suit your needs as you grow"

My business is building up my crypto accounts, and that is as niche as I can get. The how is vast, and interesting.

I give value to my readers and am ready to be outspoken about it.

Which is why one of my micro goals this week was joining twitter.

I would usually not want to share. How embarrasing! I "only" have four followers, I don't have a background picture, and I have not tweeted much.

Well, that is ok.

Because now everyone who reads this post and is interested in what I have to say can follow me.

I am @smithmetzli there, go network with me!

I am also re-building my Pinterest Account

In the past I have had great "luck" with my pinterest account, but it slowly went from a view generator from my etsy shop to a random assortment of ... stuff.

I am @metzlismith there, and I will be sharing my posts and my micro business wins there :)

Anyone over at the CTP tribe will tell you that they only way to grow your business is to own your own mailing list.

Which is why I am finally on mailer lite. Next micro goal is learning how to put my sign up form right where these words are right now,

I am changing my writing to more evergreen writing, and learning how to point my readers towards other awesome things I write about that may be interesting to them.

I have been a blogger now for four years and have lots of already written articles, that simply need clearer instructions.

I also have some art, ebooks, and graphics to share.

Here is the first one.

Redbubble Shop

A shop filled with Pride Sayings translated into the Nahuatl language.

The shop is a Print on Demand Style shop, and I have access to the CanvaPro edition so look forward to lots of Modern Indigenous People ("Native American") art.

Those are the steps I am taking to grow.

Where are you going with your crypto based blogging business?

Thank you! I was able to upload my first five designs to redbubble and have access to analytics.

My shop has had a whopping two views!
