When You Buy A Car You Don't Automatically Become a Mechanic (Another Tron Drama Post)
I finally listened to that talk between Sun and The Witnesses and walked away with this quote: “When you buy a car, then you don’t automatically become a mechanic.” Eli Powell
This was in response to The Witnesses pointing out that Sun did not know much about what he had bought.
The sock puppet witnesses aren’t updating the price nodes (as of writing this, they have not updated them in 7 hours) which could “throw the whole blockchain off” said a Witness.
Eli responded with her quip about “not being a mechanic” soon after.
Well, if you are not a mechanic, than don’t fuck with an engine!
If you buy a car and realize that the car is not working for you, don’t just get a bunch of “sock mechanics” to try to fix the situation, you go to real mechanics.
Also, if you buy a Tesla, with the latest technology, and the car won’t let you drive, you don’t go to someone who works on classic cars to help you fix the problem.
You bought technology, you go for help from someone who knows technology.
The call overall seemed like a whole lot of excuses.
The Witnesses were not on the same page with their demands. Sun was asked some very specific questions which he refused to answer. Questions such as, will you agree to make your stake non votable stake? And, Will you retract on calling the community voted witnesses hackers? Were to be “discussed by the team.”
Also, the Sun team didn’t concede, or accept that they had bought a stake with strings attached. They were not presented with the proof (from Ned) that there were strings attached, so they were not responsible for the strings.
Nobody asked if showing them proof would make a difference.
Is it because there is no “legal proof” and only vague promises? I don’t know.
I sure am glad I listened to it myself
But I don't feel any more knowledgeable after listening.

It's reasonable that anyone would want time to think about the answers to questions, so I'm not concerned about non-answers.
I understand there are discussions going on in the background, so I am expecting more cohesive proposals from consensus witnesses.

I calmed down a bit, I was being heavily vested in this drama. Starting to realize that this will be profitable either way because there is so much cool stuff going on in this blockchain.
