Life in the city is that of diversity. Diversity in the sense that the I habitants are mostly migrants from different rural settlements. These dwellers find their way to the city because they were seeking a better life for themselves. It is also diverse because they people have different means of livelihood. One of the common systems found in the city is transportation.

Transportation becomes vital to the dwellers of the city because they regularly check on their base (that is their origin). They will go see how their elderly parents and other siblings are doing. As it's common among my nationals, some come to the city to source for better income. When they succeed in achieving that, they become the main breadwinners for their respective homes. Such people visit home from time to time.

And aspects of life in the city that makes transportation inevitable is the fact that recreational and tourism facilities are located in the city. In this case, many tourists troop into the city to visit such places. They certainly require means of transporting themselves around.

Also, traders and merchants require transportation to move their good to the city. There are many more advantages of transportation in the city.

Looking at the types of transportation common in the city, we will recall that we have been told of three types of transportation. These are air transport, transportation by land and transportation by sea. Transportation by air involves the use of airplanes. The airport is the terminal for the airplanes. There are motor vehicles (taxi, buses, and motorbikes) used for land transportation. The picture in this post is that of a motor park or garage. Transportation by sea could only be applicable where there is rivers or oceans.
