Navigating Through The City. #Photofeed Contest Round 71 - CITYSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY

My residential house is in the remote part of the city. Such places are mainly residential with little or no institutional structures like banks, markets, schools and the rest. We have more vegetation in those areas used for residency.

Whenever one has to get to the bank or office layout, one will have to navigate through the city to get to his destination. There are several networks of roads in the city to connect communities and areas together.

The government has made a lot of infrastructure to ease movement within the city. The problem of go-slow arising from traffic congestion sometimes causes workers to get to work late. This has made the authorities to construct certain infrastructures which aids the movement of workers and citizens easily.

One of the infrastructures put in place to make movement within the city easy is the overhead bridge. The overhead bridge is a road constructed above the ground level where vehicles could move on top of it equally as others move under it. The description is that of a road above another one. So while one road is on the ground level, another road flies above it.

In the picture I use, there is an overhead bridge. It is the overhead bridge located along Murtala Road, at Post Office layout in Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.
