Voluntary actions in the church. MCGI TOPIC REVIEW

Matthew 28:20 (KJV) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The church as an entity requires our commitment to help it in growing. We are pleased to witness the Holy Spirit of God teach us the necessary actions we have to take in order to contribute to the building of the house of God.

The Commandments

1 Corinthians 14:37 (KJV) If any man think himself to be a prophet, or spiritual, let him acknowledge that the things that I write unto you are the commandments of the Lord.

There are those things in the church which are commanded by God. These are the doctrines which are written in the Bible for us to learn. Through The Mass Indoctrination program of the MCGI, Bro Eli Soriano has been reminding us of these doctrines of Jesus Christ. These doctrines are not to be considered with a levity attitude. We are to obey them just as God demands that we should do. The commandments are not of our free will, it is the instructions of God.

Our Voluntary Actions

2 Corinthians 9:7 (KJV) Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.

Our voluntary actions are those things which we offer to give or do for God out of our own free will. We are not commanded to do them. We do them out of our love for our Father in heaven. We offer them as our gifts of love for the services of God. These kinds of actions include monetary donations, our vows, thanksgiving to God, and doing good to our fellow men.
