My Green 💚 and White 🤍 Wedding Cake 🍰🎂

Last week I got a 3-steps wedding cake order so I quickly went to the cake shop and bought all I need and baked. So, over the weekend we went all out for one Mr/Mrs Solace at Mbiabong Itam, here in Itu LGA, Akwa Ibom State, Nigeria.

I enjoyed working on this beautiful piece and I so loovved the process 😊. Unlike other cake, I wasn't given any sample rather I was told in their exact words to explore, be creative and bring out something beautiful.

At first it was hard cos I usually work with samples but then I remembered what my Boss told me once saying there are times I need to be creative so, I tried doing something and boom the cake came out this way.

Not only was I happy, I was fulfilled and I got lovely remarks as well. It's bad enough that I didn't snap all the processes. I was so engrossed on how the cake will look though I made videos but I can't post it.

I'll share my recipes and all ingredients I used while baking. Below 👇 are my ingredients

  • Flour 250grams
  • Sugar (White or brown sugar) 200 grams
  • Butter 250 grams
  • Eggs 2 crates
  • Mixed fruit 150 grams
  • Cinnamon - Half teaspoon
  • Nutmeg - Half teaspoon
  • Browning - 1 tablespoon
  • Vanilla and mixed fruit flavour - I tablespoon
  • Black treacle - Half tablespoon
  • Baking powder - 2 teaspoons
  • Icing sugar 3 kg
  • White 🤍 and green 💚 flowers
  • Cake board 14"
  • Wrap 3 yards
  • Green colour
  • Dowel rod
  • Partition board 6" and 8"
  • One man squad
  • Glucose
  • Gelatin
  • CMC

Now that I have shared my ingredients, let's see my recipe.

  • I beated my butter and sugar till it was light and fluffy.
  • I broke the eggs int a bowl and beat lightly.
  • Gradually, I added into the mixture my eggs and beat thoroughly.
  • I added other wet ingredients gradually and I mixed it properly.
  • I filtered all my dry ingredients into a clean dry bowl.
  • Gently and gradually I added the dey ingredients into the mixture.
  • I poured in my pre-soaked fruits and I mixed.
  • I poured into the greased pan the batter and baked for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

Now, when covering the cake, I mixed my fondant and trimmed my cake well then covered the base with it and then coloured it Green 💚. I did same for others but it was white and when I was done, I put my flowers, brushed the cake and boom 🤯💥 it was ready.

It may sound easy and simple to you but trust me it took me 3 whole days to achieve everything. I was extra careful because I wanted to please and satisfy my client and good enough I did.

That's the end of my talk 😂
Meanwhile, I'm available for orders o and I can fly to anywhere just because of cake. Kindly, DM for all kinds of cake. I'm just one call away 😊. Once again, I'm sorry for not showing y'all a video of what I did or pictures. Next time, I'll see if I can actually do that.

Thank you for reading and stopping by. I posted the videos on my Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp.

I still remain @Mhizerbee.

The presentation of the cake is so good and awesome and you have made it so well. I am sure that the taste was awesome and the look clearly shows that its a wedding cake. Even the color combination along with the flower looks so nice.
