Hi guys! I welcome you all to HiveOpenmic week 192 with the theme Grateful. I am @mhizerbee and I am excited to be on your screens again this week. In regards to this week's theme, I will be presenting a cover of the song Nara by Tim Godfrey It is a well known popular song which I believe majority of us know. So, please grab a sit and seat tight while you enjoy yourself.

Grateful means gratitude. It means being thankful and appreciative for or about something. I personally like the theme because it has helped me express how grateful I am to God for his benevolence and all things he has done for me as a person, for my family, friends, colleagues, acquaintances and even you that is reading my post.

Nara means Thank you. It is a song of appreciation and thanksgiving to God for all the things he has done. It is sang across the world as worship, praise, name it.

The year 2023 has been a good year so far despite the fact that things got worse and really troubling. It will soon wrap up and leave, meaning that in few weeks, days, hours, minutes and second we all will enter a new year by God's grace.

Many saw this year but they're not alive today. Some started the year well but for some reasons they didn't live to complete it. Here I am not because I am better than those persons or because I live right and walk according to God's precepts.

I'd say, it's because of God's love, mercy and grace. I am indeed grateful to God for all he has done for me. There are other aspects of my life that God has been faithful and I remain eternally grateful to him.

I've decided to spend the rest of these few days praising and worshipping God and I hope you do same.

The song lyrics is below 👇

He’s done so much for me,
I can not tell it all
Nara ekele Mo (Receive My Thanksgiving)
If I Had ten thousand tongues
It won’t still be enough
Nara ekele Mo

Chukwu na gwom o ria le (God, Healer of my sickness)
When You heal, You heal completely
Nara elele mo
Chukwu mara obim o (God that knows my Heart)
Isi ikendu le (Living Water)
Nara ekele mo
