7 January, Victory of Cambodia 🇰🇭

Greetings everyone from Cambodia! How are you all doing? I sincerely hope that each and every one of you is doing well. Today, we are here to celebrate one of the most important day in Cambodian great history, actually that is the Cambodian Victory Over the Genocide Day. This day actually come to the end of the Khmer Rouge regime, which is celebrating on January 7th, 2024.

Every year, this day is celebrated as a national holiday for all workers and students in Cambodia. However, it is bittersweet that this day often falls on a Sunday, as it means we don't get an additional day off to fully enjoy ourselves in the celebrations. Nevertheless, we eagerly anticipate this day throughout the week, and despite the lack of an extended break, we continue to celebrate it with the same ballon and party as before.

On this significant day, my friend also happens to be celebrating her birthday. I hope her day is filled with boundless joy, wonderful presents, and of course, a delicious cake. Ah, there's nothing quite like the sweetness of cake to add to the festive of Cambodia, And let's not forget the colorful balloons that bring a touch of whimsy and liveliness to any celebration.
