I remember one of the first things we learned to do when studying music seriously was to write music in the style of other composers. Many composers have mentioned both classical Khmer composers and foreign.

When they came back from this performance, I ask one of the groups about their course and they said the first time when they started to follow the style is kind of easy and adaptable, but it isn’t when their teacher let them to create their own songs.

What do you think about playing music instrument before flag-raising? Personally, I believe it simply a good thing to do. I listen to them playing and it absolutely sounds beautiful. They perform very well.

Generally, we rarely see this performance. As this is the first time for me also. Due to the fact that our school have a competition which is a special event so that the teacher suggests them to practice together before the day comes. I think it is such a great idea because they can feel how things would be and as to gain their confidence too.

We all sang the National Anthem of the State of Cambodia. The song that we sang calls Nokoreach (Royal Kingdom). The song is inspired by tranditional folk music of the region, and was restored in 1993 after the fall of the Communist regime. It is last about 3 minutes because we sing slowly and try to be carefully waiting for others to avoid repeated sounds.

It was Saturday, so everyone can wear school T-shirt or any type of uniform to school whether white or red T-shirt. Obviously, the school principal gives along speech about how to improve school environment, practices the rules and something related to time management. We spent about 10-15 minutes listening to him. After that we allowed to go back home.

So nice to see the students on the streets with guitars!!
Usually, I see here musicians (when performing in a group) on the street with wind instruments, and almost never with guitars. The guitar players usually play alone here, like soloists.
I am glad you participated in this event singing the Anthem 🎶

Oh! I am glad to participate in this event dear. Generally, street musicians are not commonly things to see in my country, we just got an opportunity this time, our school has a competition so students are so happy to perform and show their ability.

In Thailand, there is a group of students performing on the streets. It has received a lot of attention from the public. Famous until being employed by a large number of companies.
