Prepare Vegetables Soup & Fish ( Delicious And Nutritious Soup For Lunchtime )

Greetings everyone of Foodies Bee Hive, I’m back here with a delicious fish vegetables soup. There's nothing quite like a big pot of fish vegetables soup simmering on the stove, filling your home with the heavenly taste and good smelling. This popular dish is perfect for busy families because it's easy to make and everyone loves it!

Ingredients ✍️

  • fish
  • eggs
  • Pineapple
  • tomatoes
  • Basil leaves
  • Tamarind juice
  • wax gourds

STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS

Step 1

Fried garlic can be easily cooked on the stovetop. First, chopped garlic. Place over medium-high heat and cook with oil, stirring frequently with a heat-resistant rubber spatula, until garlic begins to bubble steadily, 2 to 3 minutes.

Continue cooking, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides and bottom of the skillet to ensure even cooking and prevent garlic from sticking and scorching, until garlic turns pale golden brown, and then set it aside.

We cook egg over medium heat for 2 minutes to set the egg white’s bottom, making it easier to turn. Flip the egg over. Let it briefly cook the rest of the raw egg whites for about 10 - 15 seconds. This process will ensure that the yolk oozes out.

Personally, this is my favorite way to enjoy a fried egg, after it cook we set it aside on one plate.

We place a pot with 5 glass of water over medium heat just wait until it boils. This time, we add about 1 tablespoon of Tamarind juice as we need to soften it and take the flavor from tamarind to make our soup sour, after that simmer it for 3 minutes.

While the soup is boiled, I would like to add the seasoning. I add about 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1/3 tablespoon of soup powder, 1/3 tablespoon of salt and 1 tablespoon of fish sauce. You can also pour less or more types of seasoning as you prefer. We stirred it together.

Here is mix vegetables that we have prepared. I use 1 tomatoes, 1 wax gourds, a half of pineapple and basil. While waiting for the soup simmer, I bring this vegetables together to clean with water.

Next, we transfer the wax gourds, tomatoes and pineapple to boil. We only boil these vegetables first since it take time to simmer. Actually, stir it often and decrease the heat.

Generally, this fish took about 7-10 minutes to cooked, so I increased the heat and simmer it about 8 minutes. Make sure that we stir it often and take out the bubbles from the fish to make our soup water clear.

After 8 minutes, the soup is boiling very hard. We check whether the fish cooked or it need time to simmer more, and it already cooked as I see. This part, I taste the soup with spoon to make sure that the taste turns out good as what we prefer. It actually sour enough and flavorful.

This is the last step of our cooking, we transfer the fry egg into the soup also the basil. The basil leaf smell really good which really goes well with this yummy soup.

As simple as it may be, this classic fish and mix vegetables recipe is quick, delicious, and perfect for lunch any day of the week! This recipe does not rarely or difficult to find the ingredients since it is an Asian recipe, we easy to find it at the Asian store.
