Saucy Vegetables Stir Fry 🌽🍄 - Delicious Melt With Lard & Meat.
Greetings everyone of Foodie Bee Hive, our favorite vegetables stir fry recipe! This dish makes us feel healthy and light with a fresh sauce also the flavor is extremely satisfying.
Here are some vegetables that we need for frying and I’m sure it will work great in this vegetable stir fry:
- Green bell pepper
- Onion
- Baby corn
- Mushrooms
- Okra
- Green onion
Other Ingredients
- Parsley leaves
- Dried shrimp
- Pork
- Chili
- Seasoning 🧂 ( oyster sauce, salt, sugar & soup powder )
Instructions 📝 👩🍳
First, I would like to place the pork fat cubes in a large pan without any oil. I begin at medium heat to allow the pork fats release its oil. Once the oil is released, continue heating the pork fats over low heat. This will ensure that our pork lard is not over heated.
We will start to see the lard started to melt slowly. We need to maintain heat at low.
Next, we smashed the garlic cloves and then finely chop. Transfer the chopped garlic into the skillet and then Stir-fry the garlic with lard over Medium heat until it's lightly golden, approximately 3-4 minutes. Turn off the heat.
Add pork and cook, stirring once or twice, until it begins to brown, about 2 minutes. Add a little salt and stir; cook another minute, stirring occasionally.
This part we want the pork and salt goes marinated well together so we need to stir it around the skillet again and again.
Wash and keep the dry shrimp in running water for 5 minutes and squeeze out the water. Spread it in a flat surface. After that, we transfer it into the cooking skillet.
Fry for about a minute until fragrant and light brown. Cover with a lid if you find the prawns getting too jumpy. Remove the lid.
When the meat is nearly cooked, we add about 1 tablespoon of soy sauce. You can add more as you prefer if you use a lot of meat since it helps to add a bunch of flavor as well as to bring the smell of soybean too.
Next is oyster sauce, I add 1 tablespoon of oyster sauce.
Another seasoning is sugar. As we add the high amount of salty at first so, I like to add about 1/2 tablespoon of sugar as to make our meat more flavorful combine with the sweetness.
About 1/2 tablespoon of soup powder.
This time, the sauce and seasoning we pour into the skillet will immediately thicken, so work fast to stir everything together for another 20 seconds to evenly let the pork and seasoning goes well together.
While waiting the meat to simmer, Let’s wash the vegetables under running water. Wash it well and cut all of it into small piece.
This is the vegetables that I have mentioned. After we clean and prepare it already now, I would like to pour it all into the skillet. Make sure that while we pour we should decrease the heat.
Carefully pour it and stir it well.
When everything comes back up to a simmer, and the sides of the skillet begin to super-heat, Stir fry everything together all over the skillet about 1 minuet or more so the pork and vegetables get tender and flavorful.
After adding veggies and continue cooking on high heat 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently or vegetables soften and sauce starts to thicken. It is time for us to taste it and add more seasoning as you prefer.
For me I feel that my recipe is too salty so I like to add about 1/3 tablespoon of sugar more into the skillet and stir it together again.
Another step: Cut the green onion into small piece.
Pour it into the skillet and stir it again.
Turn off the heat and transfer our pork vegetable stir-fry to a serving plate; you can also dish it out individually on a bowl of rice for a great one-plate meal.
