A Particular Age To Always Remember

Growing up under our parents care as children limit us to feel unsatisfied because we are always well taken care of in the sense that almost everything we need at that moment was given to us no matter how little it is. This doesn't really matter how financial stable a family is but what is most important about parents is that they take up that responsibility to look after and provide for their children.

We don't have that mindset as kids that we will someday face challenges because what we believe is that our parents are always there for us to provide for our needs. The age I will never forget was when I was 17 and that was the first time I will be away from my parents to go and hustle and make a living for myself. I really wanted to go to school but my parents weren't capable of providing the financial support so I had to struggle that myself.

It wasn't easy because that was the first time also that I will engage myself in doing something that would fetch me money. At that age I would say I was a prepared because I never for one day relent in chasing my goal and that is one motivation I got at that time. I was staying with a very close friend of mine back then and the reason was because he stays close to where I work so that was one of the reasons.

Having the mindset to take care of myself and save wanted to be difficult because this was something I haven't done before but because I had a plan of what I needed money for I had to save and I was advised to open a student account so I wouldn't touch my money. All this had already start preparing me to live alone because it was a different lifestyle unlike how I lived with my parents.

Gaining admission in the university was even double because this time I was in school and I needed to do something that would fetch me money to sustain then I was already 18 but the mindset I got when I was 17 had already prepared me to face any challenges without doubting if it will work out or not. It is definitely one of my favorite year because a lot was experienced likewise a lot was learnt and am grateful that made an impact in my life.
