Hello splinters, welcome back!

In Splinterlands we need to learn to work with what we have, the rules of battles always change strategies and monsters that are good options for some games are not usually so good in others. Learning to choose the right monsters for the amount of mana available can also bring great achievements and we don't always need to be wise only in low mana games but also in games where abundant amounts of mana are available.

In games with a lot of mana, it is important to explore those monsters that cost a lot and that we usually can't use all the time, making good use of every available mana can bring great advantages in a game.

On the other hand, in low mana games, every choice is crucial. A monster chosen in the wrong way or that is not so efficient for a certain battle rule can certainly lead to you being defeated.

Today I would like to talk a little about the monsters that are good options in low mana games, more precisely within the element of death, which for me is one of the best options when it comes to saving money!

Tanks:

Let's start with the first monster to be chosen in a match. A good tank needs to be a monster that can withstand good amounts of attack and for that it is important that it has a good amount of health, skills that can mitigate the damage suffered or regenerate health and of course, shields are always welcome.

I separated 3 monsters for tanking that have low cost:

Animated Corpse
Let's start with Animated Corpse which is a nice monster to be used in matches that the Little League battle rule is active, with only 4 cost this is a good choice. Despite not having any shields, he has a good amount of health in addition to a decent attack. Upon reaching level 4, it has defense against magic attacks through the Void skill.
Haunted Spirit
Haunted Spirit is one of my favorite tanks within the death element, with only 5 cost we can use a monster that has a great amount of health, reasonable attack and can still regenerate its health . Upon reaching level 4 this monster has considerable attack and speed and also acquires a new skill: Magic Reflect
CURSED WINDEKU
Slightly more expensive than previous tanks but still a good low cost monster for so many benefits. Right at its first level we must consider its good speed, attack and a very high health! Its strong point is the Thorns skill and also when it reaches level 5 the ability to regenerate its own health, for me the best tank of the Chaos Legion edition.

Before moving on to the next type of attack, I would like to mention 3 other low cost monsters that have melee attack and that should be considered whenever we need low cost monsters that can attack from the back row:

SHADOW SNITCH
In its first level it doesn't seem to be a monster that makes much difference in a match but I would like to invite you to use this monster at least in its level 4 where it already has a better attack. Anyway this monster is a good choice to be a replacement tank in case the main one goes down.
Skeleton Assassin
Although it is a monster that doesn't have a good attack at its first level, it has incredible speed, I recommend using this card preferably at level 4 when it already has 2 attack or at level 6 where acquires the Poison skill.
Undead Badger
To finish this part I chose to talk about Undead Badger because it is a monster that costs only 2. It is not one of the best options but because it costs so little and has a considerable speed.he couldn't stay out. In low mana games, Sneak attacks often do damage even with such a small attack, it's worth considering

This is a type of attack within the death element in which I fear many good options and with a low cost but I need to choose 3 of them:

Twisted Jester
My first choice for this top 3 is Twisted Jester. The reason is clear, a card that has a great balance of stats and still has the Snipe ability that can catch non-melee monsters from the backline off guard. I don't need to mention how excellent this card is when it reaches higher levels.
SOUL STRANGLER
Despite its low health and speed this monster has a great attack for a monster that costs so little, so at level 3 it gains a little more attack that makes it a super offensive and low cost monster.
WEIRDING WARRIOR
The strong point of this card is that it can remove the enemy monster's shield and that with such a low cost that it can cause great damage if the opponent's tank hides behind shields.

Magic attacks are feared by Splinterlands players and the reason is quite obvious: They ignore shields and directly attack life, don't miss their attacks and can execute the attack and any position on the field.

In the element of death we have a wide variety of monsters that cost little and have good functions and abilities. Maybe their attacks are not that relevant in their first levels but the support they give to the team or advantages they take from the enemy are really impressive.

I've separated 3 of which I believe are the best and low cost to be used in low mana matches:

Fallen Specter
It was not by chance that I chose the image of this monster at level 3, if you haven't had the experience of using this card at this level I recommend it. The first reason this card for me is one of the best and fits in almost any game is that it costs so little to bring so much disgrace to the enemy, it has two abilities that take away rival attacks. The second reason is that even having so little health, it manages to be a monster that has a high possibility of dodging attacks. This is definitely a great monster.
REVEALER
REVEALER maybe it can be a monster underestimated by some players, it doesn't immediately seem to be a monster that has a good cost benefit because its attributes don't have any of great relevance, but I would like to draw attention to the its ability and the possibility to Stun the enemy tank. Once it reaches level 4 it is perfect for matches with the Noxious Fumes battle rule as it enables the Immunity skill at that level.
Undead Priest
Last but not least Undead Priest that can decrease the health of enemy monsters already at their first level. After reaching level 3 it acquires magic attack and at level 5 it gains the skill Slow. A good monster that costs so little to torment the enemy side of the field.

Final conclusions:

The element of death has a wide variety of amazing monsters at low cost that we can exploit when we need to ration the resources we are given. I always give preference to this element if it is available within the conditions of a match because it contains so many options and I know it a little better than the other elements.

Of course, other elements also have their low cost and powerful monsters and this was a post that could bring a little more knowledge to the community.### Finally, will we see a battle?

BATTLE

And this is where I end this post, I hope that somehow I could have added a little to your knowledge and learning. Thank you for spending some time with my words and thoughts, see you next week!

Death is probably one my favourite splinters but I'm very clumsy when it comes to low mana battles. I almost never manage to win them so I try to play low mana games with other splinters. You gave a nice list of interesting cards for such low mana battles. I might review my deck ;-)
