Review: Episode 1 and 2 | The Last of Us

Hola a todos! Espero se encuentren bien, hoy ya que estamos a solo dos días del estreno del nuevo capitulo de The Last of Us y como como comence con esta sección en mi blog, quiero compartir con todos usted mi reseña sobre los dos primeros episodios. El primero de ellos es la introducción a este gran mundo postapocaliptico.

Hello everyone! I hope you are well, today since we are just two days from the premiere of the new chapter of The Last of Us and as I comence with this section on my blog, I want to share with all of you my review about the first two episodes. The first of them is the introduction to this great postpocaliptico world.

Episodio 1: Cuando te pierdes en la oscuridad

Episode 1: When you get lost in the dark

El capítulo piloto para introducir todo el prólogo y todo lo que debemos saber comienza bastante fuerte, en una entrevista con un par de científicos y un entrevistador donde hablan de algunos métodos de infección que se podrían convertir en pandemia, pero el que más aterra a uno de los científicos es la proliferación de un hongo que infecte el sistema nervioso de su víctima y lo controle completamente.

The pilot chapter to introduce the entire prologue and everything we must know begins quite strong, in an interview with a couple of scientists and an interviewer where they speak of some methods of infection that could become a pandemic, but the one who finors one of the Scientists is the proliferation of a fungus that infects the nervous system of its victim and controls it completely.

Luego de eso nos presentan a Joel el actor principal representado por el actor Pedro Pascal, quien se dedicaba a la construcción con su amigo, en ese momento también nos muestran a su hija quien se encontraba en casa de los vecinos cuando comienzan a sonar las alarmas de que algo de gran magnitud estaba pasando en el país, por lo que inmediatamente va Joel a rescatarla en medio de la ciudad que estaba hecha un caos. Las personas se encontraban corriendo por las calles y los carros iban a toda velocidad por todas partes, esto porque había comenzado el contagio de los hongos entre todos los ciudadanos. Terminando esta escena llegan a un punto sin escapatoria donde encuentran a un hombre armado que no sabían si estaban contagiados, por lo que sin pensarlo mucho les dispara y termina asesinando a la hija de Joel.

After that they introduce us to Joel the main act represented by Actor Pedro Pascal, who was dedicated to the construction with his friend, at that time they also show us his daughter who was at the neighbors' house when the alarms that some great Magnitude was happening in the country, so it immediately goes Joel to rescue her in the middle of the city that was made a chaos. People were running through the streets and cars went at full speed everywhere, this because the fungi contagion between all citizens had begun. Finishing this scene they reach a point without escape where they find an armed man who did not know if they were infected, so without thinking much, he shoots and ends up killing Joel's daughter.

20 años después en el 2023, ya el hongo se a esparcido por todo el mundo, la ciudad donde se encuentran esta en cuarentena total, Joe hace algunas misiones ilegales por lo que lo contactan para llevar a Elie a cierto lugar, el no sabía cuál era el motivo por la que tenía que llevar fuera del lugar de cuarentena que estaba prohibido salir pero sin pensarlo mucho acepta la misión. A partir de ahí empieza esta emocionante aventura.

20 years later in 2023, and the fungus is scattered all over the world, the city where they are in total quarantine, Joe does some illegal missions so they contact him to take Elie to a certain place, he did not know what was the reason why he had to take Outside the quarantine place that was forbidden to leave but without thinking much, accept the mission. From there, this exciting adventure begins.

Este primer capítulo es totalmente increíble, como van desarrollando los personajes y la trama de fondo por la pandemia de los hongos es fascinante, una vez terminado dan ansias de seguir viendo que pasará con Joe y Ellie y en que depara todo esto.

This first chapter is totally incredible, as the characters and the bottom plot for the fungi pandemic are being developed, once finished they eager to continue seeing that it will happen with Joe and Ellie and that he holds all this.

Episodio 2: Infectados

Episode 2: Infected

Este capítulo comienza en Tailandia donde contactan a una bióloga que lleva 20 años estudiando al hongo Cordyceps, que al parecer está pensando seriamente en que puede encontrar la cura, la llevan a un laboratorio donde le muestran una persona infectada que por algun descuidó empieza a contagiar a los científicos que se encontraban a su alrededor, por lo que la bióloga sale corriendo a informar a la base militar y sin pensarlo deciden lanzar una bomba para que no continúe propagándose.

This chapter begins in Thailand where they contact a biologist who has been studying the Cordyceps fungus for 20 years, who apparently is seriously thinking that she can find a cure, they take her to a laboratory where they show her an infected person who due to some carelessness begins to infect to the scientists who were around her, so the biologist runs out to inform the military base and without thinking about it they decide to drop a bomb so that it does not continue to spread.

Ahora bien se vuelve a la trama de Joel y Ellie, donde emprende el viaje junto a Tess, quien es una amiga Joel que la ayuda en esta clase de misiones. Emprenden este largo viaje donde entran en un museo y encuentran los primeros zombies, nos enseñan que estos no pueden ver pero cualquier mínimo ruido los puede activar, en ese momento Joel junto a Tess se encargan de aniquilar a tres de ellos.

Now it returns to the plot of Joel and Ellie, where he undertakes the journey with Tess, who is a friend of Joel who helps him in this kind of mission. They undertake this long journey where they enter a museum and find the first zombies, they teach us that they cannot see but any slight noise can activate them, at that moment Joel together with Tess are in charge of annihilating three of them.

Llegan a un lugar donde harían el intercambio por Ellie pero se dan cuenta que con las personas que iban hacer el cambio ya estaban todas infectadas, también Tess se da cuenta que fue herida por uno de estos zombies al igual que Ellie pero notan que a Ellie no se le propaga la enfermedad en su cuerpo, por lo que descubren que es inmune a la enfermedad.

They arrive at a place where they would make the exchange for Ellie but they realize that with the people who were going to make the exchange they were all already infected, Tess also realizes that she was injured by one of these zombies just like Ellie but they notice that Ellie the disease is not spread to him in his body, so they discover that he is immune to the disease.

Terminando este episodio Tess ve que el hongo empieza a infectar muy rápido su cuerpo por lo que le dice a Joel que continúe con la misión, llevando a Ellie hasta el otro punto, mientras ella se quedaría para hacer un poco de tiempo porque se venía una horda gigante de zombies y explotaría todo el lugar con ella incluida. Joel y Ellie continúan el camino y Tess destruye todo el sitio.

At the end of this episode, Tess sees that the fungus is beginning to infect her body very quickly, so she tells Joel to continue with the mission, taking Ellie to the other point, while she would stay to kill a bit of time because a disease was coming. giant horde of zombies and would blow up the whole place with her included. Joel and Ellie continue on their way and Tess destroys the entire site.

Este capítulo al igual que el anterior a cumplido con todas las expectativas, fue increíble ver los primeros duelos contra estos zombies, dar un poco de esperanzas con la bióloga hace que de más emoción continuar viendo y ver si consiguen la cura. Y con Ellie que es inmune veremos en que depara los siguientes capítulos.

This chapter, like the previous one, met all expectations, it was incredible to see the first duels against these zombies, giving a little hope with the biologist makes it more exciting to continue watching and see if they get the cure. And with Ellie being immune, we'll see what she holds in the following chapters.
